Martian Records down Gandy Street is the second-hand and cheap European import shop, staffed by metallers and booming Korn at volume.
Solo Records is yer top of the range independant shop with a good '3 for £20' sale range and excellent classical/country/world etc sections upstairs but is shite for dance/electronica/postrock.
HMV too small, Virgin too badly staffed.
Replay (or is it Reform?) Records the scary 'dance' shop with facial-hairded crusties behidn the counter scowling at you (but an excellent café/quick-lunch place next door!).
MVC the worst record shop ever but often with surprising little bits just languishing in the racks forgotten (old Fridge albums you can't find anywhere else for example).
