R.J.O.L.P.C. = "The Harder They Come" Soundtrack
C.L.O.C.D.C. = "Rooty" - basement jaxx

Mr. Pibb, Wednesday, 23 July 2003 19:01 (twenty-two years ago)

Wasn't there a note in the liners to aBob Marley LP (perhaps "Rastaman Vibration") stating, (ahem) "This cover is good for cleaning herb"?

The Former (which is the one I personally prefer) =

The Latter (which I don't prefer but am not at all opposed to) =

Rolling J's: "The White Album"
Cutting Lines: "White Light/White Heat"

Less chance of wastage if your party supplies contrast with the color of the cover.

Rolling is better, although if you're cutting lines on a CD why not use that free time productively: pick out a Dave Matthews record, then cut lines on the CD itself, preferably the shiny side.

Too large to post

You should skin up on CD cases, it's good for technique when you have to make them standing up, say at a festival, using someone elses hand as a top.

This does not mean I'm encouraging you to snort 10" lines however.

Chewshabadoo (Chewshabadoo), Wednesday, 23 July 2003 19:28 (twenty-two years ago)

My stoner friends always used to use pink floyd's "the wall" for cleaning herb on.

Pashmina (Pashmina), Wednesday, 23 July 2003 19:31 (twenty-two years ago)

There's just something so right feeling about cleaning your ganj on a rekkid sleeve whilst grooving to it, whereas with cutting lines, it just seems more appropriate to bust out a mirror or plate or something more solid. Not that I know anything about this kinda stuff... ;-)

I was once lent this record by my boss, and the 12" square rolling paper that came with it was missing. I have NO DOUBT that it was actually used to roll an enormous joint.

teeny (teeny), Wednesday, 23 July 2003 20:28 (twenty-two years ago)

rolling: "dragnet" - the fall
cutting: "cLOUDDEAD"

Mr. Pibb, Wednesday, 23 July 2003 20:42 (twenty-two years ago)

in my experience cutting lines on cd cases is no good. but it was fun to lick the residue off my friend's copy of "electric warrior" at work while listening to it

brains (cerybut), Wednesday, 23 July 2003 20:45 (twenty-two years ago)

i was gonna post that Cheech and Chong record! i still have the rolling paper.

Pleasant Plains (Pleasant Plains), Wednesday, 23 July 2003 21:09 (twenty-two years ago)

Any LP that folds out will do. It's fun to find an occasional seed or stem in the crease of a double-album you haven't played in a while.

Salmon Pink (Salmon Pink), Wednesday, 23 July 2003 23:38 (twenty-two years ago)

you should be cutting the lines directly on the cd

electric sound of jim (electricsound), Wednesday, 23 July 2003 23:41 (twenty-two years ago)

Rolling:
Neil Young "Tonight's the Night" (high contrast b&w gatefold)
Black Sabbath "Paranoid" (ditto)

Cutting:
nothing good for you goes up yr fucking nose.

Shakey Mo Collier, Wednesday, 23 July 2003 23:46 (twenty-two years ago)

what about sinex?

electric sound of jim (electricsound), Wednesday, 23 July 2003 23:46 (twenty-two years ago)

Is that kiwi for Affrin? Cuz that shit ain't good for you either. Take it for more than 3 days and you give yourself a sinus infection, says so on the goddamn bottle.

Shakey Mo Collier, Wednesday, 23 July 2003 23:48 (twenty-two years ago)

kiwi?

electric sound of jim (electricsound), Thursday, 24 July 2003 00:00 (twenty-two years ago)

this is for snorting, but it is a vinyl, so that's kinda paradoxical, i suppose. but that's also the beauty of it!

My CD would definitely be Raekwon - Only Built 4 Cvban Lynx. Just to get in the spirit of things.

Johnny Badlees (crispssssss), Thursday, 24 July 2003 07:09 (twenty-two years ago)

Melting CD cases to fashion into crack pipes!

dave q, Thursday, 24 July 2003 09:10 (twenty-two years ago)

surely cutting spiral lines on records so you can snort them off the turntable while keeping your nose still is the best compromise?

Jim Eaton-Terry (Jim E-T), Thursday, 24 July 2003 10:34 (twenty-two years ago)

'twas made while the artist was crazed on coke ...

Tad (llamasfur), Thursday, 24 July 2003 10:51 (twenty-two years ago)

Coke off the CD cases takes me back, boy...Nothing like licking the remains and numbing yr gums up real good.

One time I opened up my copy of Megadeth's Rust In Peace cassette, and inside the J Card was a tiny roach. So, I'll vote for the oft-neglected cassette format as a good place to store the shit.

That second picture is soooooo Patrick Bateman.

Lord Custos Epsilon (Lord Custos Epsilon), Friday, 25 July 2003 12:27 (twenty-two years ago)

I used to use Santana's "Welcome" to clean pot and roll joints on; I've dropped so many matches in the gatefold it's covered in little burn marks.

A friend of mine who has since mended his ways said he pulled out "Appetitie for Destruction" recently and found so much coke in the grooves you cut cut a line from it. I've done stupid things in my time, but ruin an LP???
