So i got the new Bran Van 300 album on the strength of the Curtis Mayfield single and the fact that Momus was supposed to be guesting on Discosis.
I love the album but i did not hear Momus at all.
So any examples of guest artists that you could not hear ?

I could never figure out why "Eminem" was listed in the tracklisting of DJ Krush's Code 4109whatever mix CD. I've heard the whole thing front to back. Surely I didn't fail to hear him...

I can't think of much right now but I have a hard time hearing...

Alanis Morisette on Tricky's track. Gwen on Let me Blow ya Mind.

Even after listening to Beck's Midnite Vultures several times, I still had to check the sleeve to find out which song Beth Orton was on. And guest musicians seem to be a total waste of time, unless they do something completely outside the band's usual style.

Dr John on Spritualized's "Cop Shoot Cop".

John Cale and Paul McCartney on SFA's 'Rings Around the World'.

Money Mark isn't hard to make out on the Deltron record- he's the old man bickering on that track about halfway through, I think it's called "New Coke". Although perhaps he actually plays on another song that you're referring to and I haven't noticed, which is entirely possible given the topic of this thread.

Alex:

John McCartny bites a piece of celery in Rings. Cale places piano on a track.
