the thing is that toby keith has a great voice, i mean that whole low barritone perfect for ballads thing is something country really needs right now. but the oddity is his hardcore patrotism, nash trash has softened for the soccer mom set, and the amount of love it or leave it has lessened. in this way (and its a stretch) kieth pulls the neo traditonal angle that most purists have been bitching about. in some ways it bothers me, and in some ways i admire his balls.
