I think the last time Andrews attacked an indie staple was with Failure on the Depeche Mode tribute album (see: "Enjoy the Silence"). Now he's got a new band and they're going after the Stone Roses. The results are suprisingly true to the original, but with more low-end distortion. What say ye?

It's not that bad, though it's not as great as his covers with The Replicants, particularly "Just What I Needed" and the "Silly Love Songs" cover with Maynard James Keenan on vocals.

And I love that cover of "Enjoy The Silence."
