um, also indeep, freez, man parrish, john carpenter, alexander robotnick, cerrone, giorgio moroder, larry levan, klein + MBO, patrick cowley, robert owens (especially w/ photek), etc.

i mean, it isn't as if most of the 70s/80s stuff isn't dark enough in it's own right.

Try some Ewan Pearson remixes (fair's fair, Tim). Also, Headman, A1 People (very hit and miss), DJ Hell, Nylon Pylon (bit h&m too), Playgroup and Chicken Lips. Jolly Music are cool, tho' not particularly hard or dark unless remixed by Adult. and the Parallax Corp.
