Who on the east coast loves mclusky as much as me?

They got their new drummer (Jack Eggleston, says Pitchfork) and they're coming to the states in Nov. or Dec. for a west coast tour.

I'll fly out there if I have to, but I'm thinking there's got to be a way to get them a gig in NYC. Is there an ILMer who can make this happen?

Mclusky fucking rocks. Some idiot left "... Do Dallas" in a used bin and I picked it up for the ungodly price of six bucks. I'd swallow babies whole if it would get the band to come to NYC.

Why haven't they planned an East Coast leg, anyway? Is it owing to some Morrissey-esque regionalistic quirk?

They did play the East Coast earlier during the year. I told a friend to go see them in Boston, since I live all the way down in TX, while he had the chance. The noid said he had to study. BOOOO! So I'm still grieving, needless to say.

that idiot was probably me, justin. i don't get the urge to listen to 3rd rate amrep ripoffs very often these days, and i have enough coasters.
