I won't lie and say I didn't know they were all extremely talented, but where did Lichter come from and can they do it again please?

Anyone else have any thoughts?

what do people think of Wolfsheim, a slightly more Gothic version of the Notwist?

i never thought of them as notwist-ish, but i always had a little place in my heart for them. back in my VNV Nation, Thrill Kill Kult, and Velvet Acid Christ dies i adored them.

Wolfsheim sounds like The Notwist? Since when? They sound more like And One.

wolfsheim sound more like a rammstein for softies. i used to like that kind of stuff. but that seems like ages ago. the singer's voice is quite unbearable. with german bands often the main problem is the singer, actually. the notwist guy can't sing neither.

My cousin says he sounds like Neil Tennant. I don't think Wolfsheim sounds anything like notwist, isn't wolfsheim synthpop? I love that song "Sparrows and the Nightingale" (No Happy View). NE1 seen notwist live? They rock, and they all dress like grungey high school kids =-) btw And One is such a DM wannabe it ain't even funny-

I got no time for German bands that sing in English -- it's almost never because German is somehow "unsingable" (there's about a thousand years of proof otherwise) and more the idea that singing what you feel or mean in your native language is somehow embarrassing. If you don't want to face embarrassment, put down the fucking guitars and go be an engineer for Siemens, for fuck's sake.
