And what do you think of Marcia's hand on heart soul-mama grandstanding? Not to mention her Nerfertiti/Sphinx look and her both hands up 'testify, sister!' thing? Cos they're starting to annoy me.

Yeah the beatbox dude was cool.

I'm already hooked on the show - it's not even so much about the music as it is their personalities I reckon.

So far I like -

The rockabilly-type dude who sings like Tom Jones
The Alanis / Ella Hooper wannabe, musically not too great but 'cos she's a spunk and I'd love to fuck her.
The blonde with the short hair who sang the U2 track - she's got a really weird voice, but there's something kinda cool about her...
The soul / R&B guy with the weird afro. Needs to lay off the vibrato but you can at least tell he can sing.
And I'll second the nods to Johnny Farnham dude and Ocker Pavarotti

The ones I can't stand -

That awful pretentious Jeff Buckley / John Mayer type guy. So uncool.

That beatbox guy... I was gobsmacked. How was that robot bass sound he was making??? Holy crap! Kick, snare, hat AND bassline. I would've been proud to have PROGRAMMED that rhythm. And how strange is beatboxing? Humans imitating drum machines? Could not have been forseen.
