I have been looking for or wanting to hear a copy of the LA punk band the Plugz first album for at least 12 years. Does anyone have a copy they can tape for me?

I don't believe it exists on CD, tho' I could be wrong. You have the "Repo Man" soundtrack I'm guessing, yes?

The Cruzados (the Plugz after an AOR makeover) is out on disc, I think.

The Repo man soundtrack is all that I have. It really made an impact on me as a kid. In our local hardcore scene in Texas we had plenty of hispanic kids in punk bands but none of them really came across as hispanic and punk the way those few tracks on Repo man did.

The Cruzados on the other hand I really had no use for.

I have both "electrify me" and "better luck". Are either of those the Plugz LP yer looking for? Could tape or burn to CD if yer interested.

Electrify Me and Better Luck (plus the Repo Man tracks) will all fit on a single CD-R.

The Plugz get my vote for Greatest Lost L.A. Band, hands down.

Ditto everybody here, great band, great LPS.

Didn't he star in the Talking Heads' "True Stories" (singing the tune "Radiohead," no less?) I also seem to remember him performing in some movie about vampires featuring George Clooney. Ring any bells?

I had a band that covered "Achin'" once, years ago. The lyrics were great--"I love the way you crack an egg, you jukebox maniac! I'm achin' to break your heart!" I wish I still had that single.
