I come home from work and the whole list of things I'm waiting to d/l, some of it as much as 4-5 months old, is gone!! I was halfway through downloading big files! FUCK! What happened!?

on the other hand, it is kind've nice to have a fresh clean start. I mean, I'd had those last couple tracks from that slits album on there since april; that guy wasn't coming back! And I can clear out all these mp3s marked incomplete...

i clear out anything over a fortnight old and re-search for it.

I had one download on queue for something like a week and a half, and swear to god everytime I refreshed its "place in line" flag it had fallen further back.

whenever i install a new slsk version, i back up my old queue and queue2 .cfg files

I think you can get a program that automatically backs up yr config files, although details (such as whether I'm dreaming about this) escape me.
