it's odd how much press the announcement has gotten-
i had no idea he was in a band with the guitar player from meat puppets untill i read the article saying he was quitting the biz. so i went to they're web site and listened to a few tunes- they stink. i'd quit it too, but i wouldn't run for mayor of portland or whatever...

Not true, I really liked the Eyes Adrift album! Though the Novoselic songs were admittedly fathoms beneath the Kirkwood numbers. But whatever, Nirvana's about as overrated a band as has ever existed
