hello all, I was wondering if anyone has any information about a song that I only know as "Da Ha Da Ha" by the Rappin Duke. It's an old school hip hop track with a John Wayne themed rap. thanks

astroblaster (astroblaster), Saturday, 9 August 2003 21:53 (twenty-two years ago)

So you think you're bad, with your rap
Well I'll tell ya pilgrim I started the crap
When you were in diapers and wetting the sheets
I was at the Ponderosa rapping to the beat

Da haahh, da haahh
Da ha-hahh ha-hahh haahh

Sure I rustled some cattle and tended the sheep
But my main concern was rapping to the beat
I don't bother nobody I'm a real nice guy, kinda
laid back like a, dead fly

Da haahh, da haahh
Da ha-hahh ha-hahh haahh
Da haahh, da haahh
Da ha-hahh ha-hahh haahh

I'm talkin, here and now
Later for the cattle and rustlin the cow
If I had a chance to do a repeat
You can bet your sweet dippy I'd be rappin to the beat

Da haahh, da haahh
Da ha-hahh ha-hahh haahh

Que pasa amigos? Not a *pasa* I see
Two hundred punks well what ya gonna do?
I got two six shooters that'll see me through
That's, twelve dead...
and a hundred and eighty-eight pallbearers

Da haahh, da haahh
Da ha-hahh ha-hahh haahh

What I do on your grave won't pass for flowers either

Now Kurtis Blow, Run-D.M.C.
You haven't heard of rap, til ya heard it from me
I'm the baddest rapper in history
And there'll be no more, after me

Da haahh, da haahh
Da ha-hahh ha-hahh haahh

Meanwhile, back at the ranch
Santa Barbera that is
Swimmin pools, and movie stars
Well the first thing ya know ol' Ron's the President
The kinfolk said, "Ron move away from there"
Said, "In The White House is where you wanna be"
So he loaded up the Lincoln and he moved to D.C.

Washington, that is
Politicians taking a sip
Foreign dignitaries taking a trip
High tax and plenty Cadillacs

Da haahh, da haahh
Da ha-hahh ha-hahh haahh
Da haahh, da haahh
Da ha-hahh ha-hahh haahh

Now ya see me in my movies, doin my thing
But deep in my heart, I've wanted to sing
"Wayyyy dowwwn, upon the swannnny riverrrrrr
Farrrr, farrr awayyy
Titwillow, titwillow, titwillow"
I don't think, that's your style
But I'll tell ya pilgrim, I'm versatile
Aretha Franklin, Aretha Franklin
Aretha Franklin let me rock ya let me rock ya Aretha Franklin
Let me rock ya Aretha Franklin that's all I wanna do
Aretha Franklinnnnnn

Da haahh, da haahh
Da ha-hahh ha-hahh haahh
Da haahh, da haahh
Da ha-hahh ha-hahh haahh

I'm feeelin the groove now pilgrim
Party, over here
Party, over there
There's nothin to it, the way we do it
Woop woop!
East coast, West coast
Texas

Every time I put on pants
I tell ya pilgrim I wanna dance
I put a quarter, in the juke'
Then I commence, to doin the Duke

Da haahh, da haahh
Da ha-hahh ha-hahh haahh
Da haahh, da haahh
Da ha-hahh ha-hahh haahh

It's pretty easy, if you can see
Just move your arms kinda freely
Do a pause, and take a step
And just make sure the beat is kept

Da haahh, da haahh
Da ha-hahh ha-hahh haahh

I was at the Ponderosa rappin to the beat
Tryin to cool off from the desert heat
I discovered somethin, really neat
The Duke has moves, with his feet

Da haahh... da haahh
Da haahh... da haahh

I won plenty of ladies, with my charms
But they like me the most for the moves of my arms

Woahhh... woahhh

I'm gonna rap, in the East
Gonna rap, in the West
I'll show ya pilgrim, who's the best
Nothin to it, the way we do it
Skiddely-be-bop, we-bop, Scooby Doo
Guess what America we love you

Da hahhhh, da hahhhh, da hahhhh
Da haahh, da haahh
Da ha-hahh ha-hahh haahh
Da haahh, da haahh
Da ha-hahh ha-hahh haahh

Everybody

Da haahh, da haahh
Da ha-hahh ha-hahh haahh
Da haahh, da haahh
Da ha-hahh ha-hahh haahh
Da haahh, da haahh
Da ha-hahh ha-hahh haahh...

I remember it as being a veritable anthem during my senior year of high school. I remember it being played at our senior prom as if it was yesterday.

Didn't the fatuously overrated Biggie Smalls allude to it in some track of his? He was ready to die, y'know.

oh god oh god oh god... i don't know if i'm obsessed enough though...

what year did the song come out?

astroblaster (astroblaster), Saturday, 9 August 2003 22:10 (twenty-two years ago)

It was all a dream
I used to read Word Up magazine
Salt'n'Pepa and Heavy D up in the limousine
Hangin' pictures on my wall
Every Saturday Rap Attack, Mr. Magic, Marley Marl
I let my tape rock 'til my tape popped
Smokin' weed and bamboo, sippin' on private stock
Way back, when I had the red and black lumberjack
With the hat to match
Remember Rappin' Duke, duh-ha, duh-ha
You never thought that hip hop would take it this far
Now I'm in the limelight 'cause I rhyme tight
Time to get paid, blow up like the World Trade
Born sinner, the opposite of a winner
Remember when I used to eat sardines for dinner
Peace to Ron G, Brucey B, Kid Capri
Funkmaster Flex, Lovebug Starsky
I'm blowin' up like you thought I would
Call the crib, same number same hood
It's all good

scott seward, Saturday, 9 August 2003 22:13 (twenty-two years ago)

Probably circa `85.

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Saturday, 9 August 2003 22:14 (twenty-two years ago)

alex , which rappers arent 'overrated' to you ?

trife (simon_tr), Saturday, 9 August 2003 22:17 (twenty-two years ago)

the Biggie line is one of the lines that nudged me from the "Biggie is overrated" camp closer to the "Biggie was awesome" camp

J0hn Darn1elle (J0hn Darn1elle), Saturday, 9 August 2003 22:20 (twenty-two years ago)

however the degree of unqualified worship afforded Biggie by most still means that he's overrated

J0hn Darn1elle (J0hn Darn1elle), Saturday, 9 August 2003 22:21 (twenty-two years ago)

Underrated rappers, trife? Ones that aren't inexplicably deified in the manner the late Mr.Smalls enjoys.

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Saturday, 9 August 2003 22:25 (twenty-two years ago)

ppl who barely engage with hiphop boldly declaring which rappers are 'fatuously overrated' is weird.... i would never say that like some rock band was 'overrated', like if i wasnt feeling them i would say i didnt like them and maybe give an actual REASON WHY but i havent talked to enough guitar rock fans, followed rock magazine press, etc, to get an idea of the cultural status of any given rock band especially when it comes to something as meaningless as their 'rating' and whether or not theyre 'actually' above or below it...why do ppl who have merely a pinky toe in the hiphop world feel they can proclaim who is overrated or not?? especially when their idea of 'underrated' rappers is usually some rightly ignored weird sci-fi bullshit like divine styler or something

trife (simon_tr), Saturday, 9 August 2003 22:26 (twenty-two years ago)

Technically the artist is "Shawn Brown" and the song is "Rappin' Duke".

Mr. Diamond (diamond), Saturday, 9 August 2003 22:26 (twenty-two years ago)

or the worthless digital underground who im pretty sure both members of the 'biggie is overrated' camp in this thread have said are 'underrated'....yeah the first album was ok but then WE MOVED ON

trife (simon_tr), Saturday, 9 August 2003 22:27 (twenty-two years ago)

I thought those two gents in Das Efx were remarkably more inventive than said portly playa.

ppl who barely engage with hiphop boldly declaring which rappers are 'fatuously overrated' is weird....

Put it this way, trife, I'm someone who choose not to engage in too musch in Hip Hop, yet I am still unable to escape the hallelujah choirs for Biggie. Yet, when I hear his music -- and this is not to suggest that it is bad, per se -- I just find it unexceptional. In the same way that I don't understand why the Grateful Dead were so championed -- their music wasn't awful, but rather I didn't find anything of their any more remarkable than any other bands. I admittedly am not well versed in Hip Hop, but I've heard rappers with more "skills" and penchants for "narrative" to dwarf the rotund rappers oft-touted abilities.

i would never say that like some rock band was 'overrated'

Why not? Your powers of perception are just as valid as anyone else's. Do I have to be gourmet to appreciate the taste of Prime Rib? Do I have to be a zealous wine connosieur to know a corked wine when I taste it?

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Saturday, 9 August 2003 22:30 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm someone who choose not to engage in too musch in Hip Hop

Aye caramba. That shoulda been: I'm someone who chooses not to engage too much in Hip Hop.

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Saturday, 9 August 2003 22:32 (twenty-two years ago)

well i think overrated is a bullshit concept in the first place but if youre going to play with it you should at least have some idea of the surrounding culture....if you dont like most hiphop and you dont like biggie how does most the fact that most rap dudes like biggie mean hes 'overrated' ?

trife (simon_tr), Saturday, 9 August 2003 22:34 (twenty-two years ago)

or the worthless digital underground who im pretty sure both members of the 'biggie is overrated' camp in this thread have said are 'underrated'....yeah the first album was ok but then WE MOVED ON

1. 2nd digital underground record considerably better than the first
2. but I know, it didn't sell millions & get big ups from MTV, therefore it sux, sorry I keep forgetting

J0hn Darn1elle (J0hn Darn1elle), Saturday, 9 August 2003 22:35 (twenty-two years ago)

3. oh yeah and white people might like it, gotta avoid being "corny" at all costs

J0hn Darn1elle (J0hn Darn1elle), Saturday, 9 August 2003 22:35 (twenty-two years ago)

fuck you john i havent said anything like that, youre trying to shut down the debate because you know youre a clueless herb dickface

trife (simon_tr), Saturday, 9 August 2003 22:38 (twenty-two years ago)

alex the prime rib analogy would be more like sitting down to enjoy a prime rib and then having a staunch vegan tell you that as far as meats go, steak is 'overrated'

trife (simon_tr), Saturday, 9 August 2003 22:39 (twenty-two years ago)

well i think overrated is a bullshit concept in the first place but if youre going to play with it you should at least have some idea of the surrounding culture....if you dont like most hiphop and you dont like biggie how does most the fact that most rap dudes like biggie mean hes 'overrated' ?

Now now, trife, don't get all hot under the Kangol. For a start, how do you know I don't know anything about the surrounding culture? I've lived in NYC all my life -- believe you me, it's hard to escape it. But, don't get your fat Adidas laces all in a twist -- you're right. You're just upset because I'm taking flippant potshots at an icon I'm not especially concerned with. I much the same way any delcarative statements you could make about Jaz Coleman or John Lydon or Iggy Pop shouldn't bother me, you shouldn't take my passing dismissal of B.I.G. so dead seriously. For what it's worth ----> he was more interesting to listen to than Tupac (who I saw perform with Digial Underground once....to no great lasting impression).

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Saturday, 9 August 2003 22:39 (twenty-two years ago)

its not a matter of being an expert or a gourmet but when you play the 'overrated' card you have to acknowledge the tastes of ppl who actually ENJOY the kind of thing that you dont

trife (simon_tr), Saturday, 9 August 2003 22:40 (twenty-two years ago)

not trying to "shut down the debate," ethan, preemptively striking because you fucking ALWAYS call anybody corny who doesn't accept your version of the hiphop canon

and you get fucking nasty about it, too

and speaking of "moving on," why isn't the same thing suggested to Li'l Kim, using "the best rapper is still B.I.G." as her chorus some six years after his death? is it because we only need to "move on" when somebody's disagreeing with us?

J0hn Darn1elle (J0hn Darn1elle), Saturday, 9 August 2003 22:41 (twenty-two years ago)

the beasties name-checked the rappin' duke too in The Vibes. The Duke Is Back is a cool track as well.

scott seward, Saturday, 9 August 2003 22:44 (twenty-two years ago)

jeez i wish that l'il kim would shut up about her dead friend.

vahid (vahid), Saturday, 9 August 2003 22:44 (twenty-two years ago)

yeah for real alex, i understand its not meant to be authoritative it just comes off as a why bother thing....i mean i try not to hate on music when i post to ilm but im sure ive made jokes about rock bands i havent even heard when i was younger... sorry for doubting your hiphop cred too i actually really liked your top twenty singles, one of the better lists on the thread

trife (simon_tr), Saturday, 9 August 2003 22:44 (twenty-two years ago)

Well, trife, by this you're suggesting that I've never enjoyed any Hip Hop, which is just flatly false. I may not have immersed myself in it as I did with other genres of music, there has been a lot of Hip Hop I've enjoyed. But, while I don't completely decry Biggie, I don't think I ever quite grasped why he was so championed over some of his peers ----> even before his untimely death (as the death of an artist in his/her prime almost always guarantees that the artist in question will be held aloft as if having possessed abilities well above and beyond their fellow artists).

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Saturday, 9 August 2003 22:44 (twenty-two years ago)

Didn't mean to itallicize all that. sorry.

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Saturday, 9 August 2003 22:45 (twenty-two years ago)

my post about the first digi underground cd being ok and the rest sucking was pure value judgement so yeah it does only count when someone disagrees with us, i still listen to lots of old music (early to mid 90s) but the digital underground cult seems just like a 'i was in high school/college and didnt exclusively listen to indie yet' thing

trife (simon_tr), Saturday, 9 August 2003 22:46 (twenty-two years ago)

yeah for real alex, i understand its not meant to be authoritative it just comes off as a why bother thing....i mean i try not to hate on music when i post to ilm but im sure ive made jokes about rock bands i havent even heard when i was younger... sorry for doubting your hiphop

Cheers, man, I'm sorry. I'm often guilty as coming off as smug and self-righteous (just ask the Firewatercircus....actually, on second thought, don't!) I need to reign in my flippancy a bit. Anyway, carry on....

Li'l Kim, now what's she on about?

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Saturday, 9 August 2003 22:49 (twenty-two years ago)

its cool alex, thanks!!! biggie dying as catalyst for his rep is sort of an misconception, its like saying john lennons death gave the beatles their place in rock... biggie was the illest way before that, it changed how he was percieved but i dont think it gave hgim any more props than he deserved, at least not from hardcore heads... maybe the mainstream media finally noticed him but thats not what im talking about

trife (simon_tr), Saturday, 9 August 2003 22:53 (twenty-two years ago)

its like saying john lennons death gave the beatles their place in rock

this is so exactly on the money about why the Biggie worship grates so hard: it's like listening to Beatles fans with the "oh sure this or that may be O.K., but the plain and obvious truth is that The Beatles Were The Greatest Of All Time"

J0hn Darn1elle (J0hn Darn1elle), Saturday, 9 August 2003 22:55 (twenty-two years ago)

btw if your question abt kim is serious, her and big had a long established affair for years before his death and she was in his jr mafia crew etc so shes sorta biased when it comes to his legacy....i mean i still think he was the best rapper (trhough lately some other ppl have been creeping on his status) but i wouldnt still be doing choruses about it... i cant judge though, he was also a huge part of her life beyond the rap game so its totally difft

trife (simon_tr), Saturday, 9 August 2003 22:57 (twenty-two years ago)

well yeah john im not trying to force biggies status on anybody but i think you have about as much right to say he was 'overrated' as i do the beatles!! i like some of their songs, dislike some of the other ones, i know lots of ppl like them and write about them as the g.o.a.t. but im not gonna go off on them for being 'overrated' just bcz they have songs i dislike....maybe my beef is more with the whole under/over 'rating' system of criticizing something than your hate for biggie...i mean when im bored of reading about the beatles (which is most of the time) i DONT READ ABOUT THEM, and i certainly dont bust up in some thread about them with faulty superficial disses

trife (simon_tr), Saturday, 9 August 2003 23:01 (twenty-two years ago)

This is a legit question, as I really know precious little about her beyond what's written about her in the tabloids: Is Lil Kim a serious contender for Hip Hop greatnes (i.e. due her skills set her apart from the rest), or is she just riding on the coattails of her association with Biggie and her rather brazenly presented sexuality?

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Saturday, 9 August 2003 23:02 (twenty-two years ago)

though sometimes nu ilm with its constant '50 cent/jayz/puffy/mase/whoever is OVERRATED or just plain horrible' threads feels like a bunch of neo-cons coming with biased incomplete summations of everything about the middle east and islam....like yeah thanks for your midwestern rich white ass offering the definitive opinion about the other side of the world

trife (simon_tr), Saturday, 9 August 2003 23:06 (twenty-two years ago)

i like kim a lot but shes not really a traditionally great mc no, even trina comes better with the dirty female steez (though i dont think she couldve if kim hadnt first, ditto foxy)....she has a great voice, funny sex rhymes, good persona, and like i said she was the first to do it....the biggie association certainly didnt hurt though

trife (simon_tr), Saturday, 9 August 2003 23:08 (twenty-two years ago)

she has a great voice, funny sex rhymes, good persona, and like i said she was the first to do it....the biggie association certainly didnt hurt though

Did she pre-date Foxy Brown (and is she even a going concern anymore?)? Wasn't there some big beef between those two as well?

I used to write for a severely down-market music rag called THE NEW YORK REVIEW OF RECORDS, and Kris Needs (notorious editor of punk bible ZIG ZAG and now a prominent Brit trance deejay) was writing/co-editing with us for a while (when not boozing like a madman and doing smack), and he was reall into a female Hip Hop artist whose big single was "N.P.T." We're talking very early 90's.....ring any bells?

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Saturday, 9 August 2003 23:11 (twenty-two years ago)

i have no idea who that was!!!! remember though, in the early 90s i was like seven years old

I bought yo shit it was weak, trashed it now you owe me
All the hardcore niggas know me
I aint knockin, I'm jus gon' bust up in the motherfucker
Takin anything that's rightfully mines
Lust, AKs, rifles, and nines
Physique crew, thick designs
wit jewels that shine all the time
Ain't nuthin sweet about this rate of mystique
Got niggas while you eat shit sleep and beat yo meat
die reachin fo heat, leave you leakin in da street
Niggas screamin he was a good boy ever since he was born
but fuck it he gon life must go on niggas don't live that long
but hoes in wigs niggas that think they head strong
got niggas hollerin Jewelz dead wrong on this song
THIS TYPE OF MURDA DONT NEED NO HOOK
JUST FORTY FUCKIN BARS FROM DA MOUF OF A CROOK!!!

trife (simon_tr), Sunday, 10 August 2003 01:06 (twenty-two years ago)

Come to me wit faggot tendacies
You'll be sleepin where the maggots be

The more of this bullshit I read/hear, the more comfortable I feel being the corny, old, it-was-better-back-in-the-day dude that Trife thinks I am

J0hn Darn1elle (J0hn Darn1elle), Sunday, 10 August 2003 01:07 (twenty-two years ago)

john on the new chingy theres a whole song about him having chinky eyes!!!!!! its pretty common in rap i dont know who said it first

trife (simon_tr), Sunday, 10 August 2003 01:07 (twenty-two years ago)

nah faggot stuff bothers me too but it wasnt hardly better 'back in the day', anti-gay rhymes date back to rappers delight!!! if anything its getting better, along with the general cultural acceptance of homosexuality

trife (simon_tr), Sunday, 10 August 2003 01:09 (twenty-two years ago)

black/Asian interaction quite complex esp. w/r/t the "Amerasian" community (children of Vietnamese women by black soldiers), though I still got lots of bad memories of the assault on Koreatown during the L.A. riots, Ice Cube's loathesome "Black Korea," etc

you're right about how well-established the anti-gay trope is and it does my corny heart good to hear you say it bugs you, too

J0hn Darn1elle (J0hn Darn1elle), Sunday, 10 August 2003 01:10 (twenty-two years ago)

weirdly, misogyny in rap doesnt bother me, i dont know why : (

trife (simon_tr), Sunday, 10 August 2003 01:10 (twenty-two years ago)

[Lady Luck](Redman)
(Aiyyo, low
Do you really know what pressure is?)
Nigga I apply it
The one scannin TVs in the Rodney King riot
Guns, all solids; whips, no milage
At the bar, three iced teas, Long Island
I stay stylin', boo stay fair with weed
In the V lane, 3 switchin' up with speed
I'ma be obnoxious until I can't, breathe
And until, then, y'all can't, win
Luck's 12 on a scale from 1 to 10
And blew a spiral hydro and lots of gin
Nigga back up! Damn, I need oxygen
Surrounded by lots of men that'll rock ya chin
And pop ya lids, handle like Iverson
The Mulberry, flows extraordinary
How 'bout the go Chevy a hole in the 4 steady
Been wantin' war let me know when y'alls ready

you forgot lady luck on your list.

scott seward, Sunday, 10 August 2003 01:12 (twenty-two years ago)

I think I've just become jaded to the misogyny, it used to bug the hell out of me, esp. NWA, because here you had Ice Cube who was so obviously a genius (mind mind: I was NOT in college or any of that, this was when the records were new, etc) coming with stuff like "A Bitch Iz A Bitch," which had some great rhymes but...but...you know how it is. But the antidote seemed to be the "all black women are Queens!" positive-tip guys, which was boring hippie stuff, too.

J0hn Darn1elle (J0hn Darn1elle), Sunday, 10 August 2003 01:14 (twenty-two years ago)

i thought the redman collab role was filled by hurricane ...'yo, yo redman, yo what the fuck man??? get off that punk smooth shit, get on that ROUGH SHIT, you know how we do!!!!'

trife (simon_tr), Sunday, 10 August 2003 01:16 (twenty-two years ago)

yeah i mean its partly just being used to it but then i can really revel in stuff like the talk like sex ii lyrics i posted above, i dunno maybe just cuz im usually in the timid submissive role when im gettin with girls i end up with....omg tmi!!!

trife (simon_tr), Sunday, 10 August 2003 01:18 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh nigga you mad now, actin bad, pullin out your gats now
All you care about is cash, so my feelings they assed out
And it's so sad how I do for you
Be the woman come through for you
When you do wrong, police come through for you
I'll even bend the truth for you
but the fact of the matter is
nigga you gon' love who you gon' love
You gon' trust who you gon' trust
You gon' fuck who you gon' fuck
but you wont trust me, no way no how
ya gotta give ya whole life fo a nigga nowadays
Can't leave your house, can't even speak your mouth
Can't even beat him down
Motherfuckers is so crazy, deranged
Let 'em into your brain brings misery and pain
Cause they call us lame, bitches, and heffers, and sluts
You think your nut is gonna heal my bruises and batters and cuts
Bitches ya'll better get tough
and at the same time y'all better lock the game
And re-rock the game
Get a glock ready, sit back cock and aim
And try to stop the pain, cause you got a lot to gain
instead of sittin home waitin on niggas to call
puttin 911 in their beepers and all
we don't deserve this at all y'all

scott seward, Sunday, 10 August 2003 01:24 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh yes, I'm that master rap
I'm the cold cap (echo)
I'm what you know, ask
Rapping
Beyotch, Beyotch

2 times baby, one time more
Give it one more for Sir Too Short
When I rap, I'm like this, I'm like that
They can't resist, the MC MC MC thing
That Too Too Too Too Too Short thing
Beyotch, I don't stop
Never ever ever will smoke that rock
Beyotch, I don't quit
I'm Too Short baby, got the shit
To rap on the mike, turn you out
Too Short baby without a doubt

I gotta change the beat
I got a song for every cold player

Oh yeah, this here song is dedicated to any nigger who ever in
life got his dick sucked. So if you don't know what it's like
to get your dick sucked, well then just dream.

H-E-A-D
I need a doctor just for me
To suck my dick, like a vet
To suck my dick until I sweat
I need a bitch, thick as hell
She's gotta suck dick so I can tell
All my homies, what she did
She sucked and sucked and she's a bitch
The homeboys laugh, everytime
And then I put her in my rhyme
Talk about a bitch who sucked dick
Man oh man that bitch can lick
She'll have a nigger jumping up
Making a nigger just wanna fuck
Have you heard about baby, man she's tough
You know I have and now she sucks

The bitch sucked dick, so much dick
I loved that blowjob

I'm Sir Too $hort, I don't stop
I love a bitch for a blow job
I just laugh, over and over
When a bitch drinks sperm like it's a soda
A nigger be aiming, whops I missed
Get back bitch, we'll never kiss
When it comes to me, game is tough
Have you heard about baby, man she sucks

The bitch sucked dick, so much dick
I loved to get my dick sucked by her

Bitches in Oakland want to be under
When they suck dick like girl wonder
Niggers in Oakland are sick as hell
As soon as they nut they gots to tell
All the homies, what she did
She sucked and sucked and she's a bitch
The homeboys laugh everytime
And then I put her in a rhyme
Cause when a bitch sucks me down
I kick on back and think about now
When I sing about rap, all about her
The way she will and put in work
I'm Sir Too Short, in the chair
Bust big nuts like a big 'ol player
And sometimes baby we could fuck
But everytime you know she sucks

The bitch sucked dick, so much dick
I loved to get my dick sucked by that bitch

Me and homeboy roll to the Hyatt
Shit went crazy when they had a riot
I got in the Cutlass, went a few blocks
Saw a bitch and had to stop
Asked her if she needed a ride
The bitch just kept on walking by
So I said baby, could we just talk
I make you see, no need to walk
She never should have stopped, now that time
Cuz now baby, your in my rhyme
I remember you leaving, said I'll see you soon
I remember us going in my room
But I've never seen you, you freaky bitch
I now I tell the world just how you live
Too bad baby, we couldn't fuck
Everytime I see ya I'm a say you suck

The bitch sucked dick
Man that bitch is going to give a vicious blow job

When I drop my drawls, I'll be ready
Blow more head than Blow Job Betty
Suck my dick, and suck it cool
And suck my homie when he come through
Just suck dick, till you see no other
I think my homie, is bringing his brother
All my homies are coming up
Kick back and cap and say she sucks

The bitch sucked dick
That bitch sucked dick (echo)
I love a bitch like that, suck a whole lotta dick
Knows, get a nigger all juiced up when they bust into the bitches mouth
I'm a tell ya

If I wanted, I could black her
But I'm not fucking no head doctor
Bitches don't know that Too SHort tip
You might get fucked if you don't suck dick
But I'm so freash, I'm so down
I tell that bitch the other way around
Suck my dick and you'll get some
I'll fuck you baby till your cock is numb
I'll bust my nut in her mouth
Smooth get dressed and roll out
I'm Sir Too Short, fresh fresh again
Kicking it tough just like a pimp
I could rap non stop in stereo
I talk about a bitch, I watch her blow
Cause she just can't wait to fuck
So for that one reason you know she sucks

The bitch sucked dick, so much dick
I just love that bitch for that good blowjob

I'm Too S-H-O-R-T
Rap so strong to the disco beat
Talk about bitches who ever licked
Bitch don't lie, you sucked my dick
More then once, more than twice
It was hella times and it all was nice
You see me nut, when i look down
And you looked up and see me frown
Cause your one bitch I'll never fuck
Do you know why, because you suck

She's a vicious head doctor with a P.H.D.

scott seward, Sunday, 10 August 2003 01:29 (twenty-two years ago)

scott seward, Sunday, 10 August 2003 01:30 (twenty-two years ago)

oh my god, too short was fucking deranged. what do they call that illness:monomania. whatever he had, it was serious.

scott seward, Sunday, 10 August 2003 01:33 (twenty-two years ago)

i should scan a picture of me with my too short tshirt....hypocritically i only even love like three or four of his songs and one of thems the premo remix

trife (simon_tr), Sunday, 10 August 2003 01:34 (twenty-two years ago)

you mean he engages in sex compulsively, and without joy??

trife (simon_tr), Sunday, 10 August 2003 01:35 (twenty-two years ago)

is that what that means. oh jeez, i don't even know what his problem was. all i know is that he could go on and on and on forever about his dick. it's impressive in a way.

scott seward, Sunday, 10 August 2003 01:39 (twenty-two years ago)

i dunno i was quoting big lebowski... i think monomania means being obsessed with one thing, yeah...

trife (simon_tr), Sunday, 10 August 2003 01:42 (twenty-two years ago)

scott seward, Sunday, 10 August 2003 01:45 (twenty-two years ago)

"Now the first drop of juice is there for her to see
Honey, that's when she backs off and just lick her teeth..."

Chorus:
(Sex style!) Niggas want it free
They dogs drink my piss (Girls pay a fee)

You want freestlye, that's right, the style is free
Niggas suck my dick and they girls drink my pee
I'm on some S&M shit you can't get with
Pull your panties down on stage and watch you sweat quick
Suckers back to pull their style's transsexual
Lesbians dance with the funky heterosexual
You on the mic, and when you rhyme I start to jerk off
Let my dog lick you German Shepard want to bust off
I tell your legs and swat em, MC's having anal sex
Step around like a Tampax, and step up next
I enter New York, no problem with my dick out
California porno star, my ass you can lick out
Saying "What?" with sperm dripping down your partner's butt
I see MC's in my face with their ass up
Let me put my cape on, my rubber and my mask up
Not no horror-core shit, this is porno-core
I'm in the club naked man, I'm the fucking pro
Niggas can't wax no ass, girls should let them know

Chorus x3

Back I wreck shit, so what nigga? I masturbate
See your girls' cocked back, her legs tied like a figure eight
I'm on stage getting sucked by Madonna
Sticking piped in your ass until you stop the freesyle drama
I pioneered this shit, you keep sucking dick
Your girl's in the crowd, hawking me for a naked flick
I got my silk underwear for the atmosphere
Piss in your face and urinate all in your hair
You name a group that's shit, I will pooper-scoop
Fuck with this, miss, I will damage on the premesis
Niggas step back with Dax grease, watch their ass twist
I rhyme any nigga, golden showers up in Greek Alley
Movie star bitches, MC's lining up in Cali
Drinking vodka, Absolut, sipping Tanqueray
Mc's jump off, I stung your rectum like a stingray
Girls heinie-wipe, MC's say my style is hype
Pussies relax, I'd rather fuck them with a cordless mic
Could rob a horse, pull your panties off and pay the cost

Chorus x2

"May they beat his bowels with a ten-pound hammer til his asshole
whistles the Star-Spangled Banner."

Now the nurse is here, Dr. Butcher to your anus
I don't care who your are, and if you think you're famous
You could be waxed, seventy-five fucking rap groups
Bisexuals on stage eating fruit loops
Sugar smacks, I got the rhythm for your ass cracks
Bring your girl, she fantasize in my sex world

scott seward, Sunday, 10 August 2003 01:54 (twenty-two years ago)

This is a great thread.

Mike O. (Mike Ouderkirk), Thursday, 27 January 2005 05:46 (twenty-one years ago)

great thread. terrible song. i loved "novelty" songs when i was in junior high, and i fucking hated this. It just fucking dragged. I was too busy listening to, you know, more *ahem* prominent bands like Prince, Animotion, T'Pau, Trans-X, Doug E. Fresh, The Fat Boys, Art Of Noise, Baltimora, Ministry, Dead Or Alive, Boys Don't Cry, and the L.A. Dream Team.

donut christ (donut), Thursday, 27 January 2005 06:18 (twenty-one years ago)

oh, and my anthem of 1985 was "Don Quichotte" by Magazine 60! That was the fucking jam.

"Hello, may I speak to Mr. Don Kee-shot, please?"

"No-no-no-no-no-no-no-n-n-n-n-n-no, se&ntidle;or... *CLAP CLAP*"

donut christ (donut), Thursday, 27 January 2005 06:21 (twenty-one years ago)

this really was a great thread, Alex and Trife and J0hn all at or near their most thoughtful
