I think Hillside is a lost classic which equals anything that the Fanclub ever did and is constantly in my Top 50 of all time, Bahama was a great album too, but they seem to have disapeared again.
I read somewhere that they were working as Painters and Decorators on the side.
So does anyone know what they're doing??

the last album "Bahama" had at least two amazing tracks on it but it wasn't quite up to the standard of their Creation releases.

Revive - listening to Hillside for the first time in a couple of years. Used to have it in heavy rotation. Great to see some love upthread, 'cos must agree that Hillside is classic. Enjoy Bahama as well but Hillside is the pick.
Don't think the anonymous, nearly unsearchable band name was too bright a decision.

never heard Hillside, but The Barn Tapes is something I revisit every few months or so...

The Barn Tapes... that's before they became famous enough to be obscure. Haven't heard that one.

have to agree with the love for The Barn Tapes, have worn out my copy. Hillside was really good but too long with an added three bonus songs but maybe they knew they had to put all those songs on one album. nothing else is any good, just OK at times.
