is there anybody who would prefer Coldplay to some yogurt?

and are only certain flavors preferable to Coldplay or are all of them superior to Coldplay?

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Wednesday, 13 August 2003 19:16 (twenty-two years ago)

Yogurt is icky sour milk with mashed up fruit that was too rancid to use in jam or jelly. Yogurt is evil. Down with Yogurt, I say.
That said, Coldplay is astonishingly mediocre.

Lord Custos Epsilon (Lord Custos Epsilon), Wednesday, 13 August 2003 19:19 (twenty-two years ago)

MTV assumes you prefer Coldplay to Yoplait, judging by all the ads have revealed about the show is that Chris Rock is hosting and in one ad he says "Coldplay" apropos to nothing.

Based on LCE's post, I prefer the taste of icky sour milk with mashed up fruit that was too rancid to use in jam or jelly to Coldplay.

With one exception: I prefer "Yellow" by Coldplay to yellow Yoplait.

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Wednesday, 13 August 2003 19:21 (twenty-two years ago)

I love "In My Place" but will take a cold container of peach with wheat germ or Grape Nuts sprinkled in over every other C-play song easy.

M Matos (M Matos), Wednesday, 13 August 2003 19:23 (twenty-two years ago)

Say my car runs off the road into a ravine and I'm stuck there for days and if I have yoghurt in the car I can survive off that for a few days but if I have a Coldplay album then I'll be bored at first and then I'll get all emotional and weepy and then I'll get frustrated that I have no food then I die of starvation.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Wednesday, 13 August 2003 19:27 (twenty-two years ago)

I stopped eating yogurt about a year ago. Also, I like "Clocks" a lot.

I've gotta try this 'hash yoghurt' thing

dave q, Wednesday, 13 August 2003 19:30 (twenty-two years ago)

Woah fuck I was just thinking that! I've had hash brownies, cookies, meatloaf!, "ganja gooballs", tea made from stems-n-leaves, but never once YOGHURT!

Coldplay vs "Woah! I'm tripping my nutack in a frenzy of dikplay"

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Wednesday, 13 August 2003 20:41 (twenty-two years ago)

if Yoplait is responsible for those stupid neo-Massengill "A weekend without boys-good" commercials then my fandom of "In My Place" may tip my vote the other way.

M Matos (M Matos), Wednesday, 13 August 2003 21:34 (twenty-two years ago)

ts: Coldplay vs. Zutroy ("as american as apple pie!")

Leee (Leee), Wednesday, 13 August 2003 21:36 (twenty-two years ago)

There is more life in yogurt than in Coldplay (literally). Plus, yogurt can cure yeast infections. Perhaps explaining the neo-Massengill ads.

Kris (aqueduct), Thursday, 14 August 2003 01:38 (twenty-two years ago)

Am I the only one on this planet to love the last album of Coldplay (tell me no, tell me no, tell me no, tell me no, tell me no, tell me no, tell me no, tell me no, ...)

Dead heat. I loves me the yogurt, but I also love some of the stuff off that last record; towering monuments to the power of wussiosity ...

Wussiosity: A phrase coined by a guy who eats lots of yogurt.

Hash Yoghurt:

Directions:
Prepare in a teaspoon enough hash for a decent spliff. Add a small amount of cooking oil into the spoon so that it covers all the hash. Then heat the spoon with a lighter for about 2 minutes. The cooking oil will start to bubble and become cloudy with a dark colour. The oil extracts the THC from the hash and 'brings it to the surface'. When all the hash has dispersed into the oil, have a yoghurt ready prepared. Dip the spoon, with its contents, into the yoghurt and stir. Leave for 5 minutes to let it disperse into the yoghurt, however if you can't wait that long, eating instantly is still alright. When finished, throw away yoghurt carton and prepare for a trip!

Dave M. (rotten03), Thursday, 14 August 2003 07:28 (twenty-two years ago)

Chris Martin and bukkake in the same sentence...now's the time for me to seriously consider homosexuality.

New Poltical Slogan: Chris Martin. He puts the Kack in Bukkake.

Lord Custos Epsilon (Lord Custos Epsilon), Friday, 15 August 2003 14:34 (twenty-two years ago)

I only like plain yogurt when it's used in Greek cooking. And perhaps if Coldplay would do "Never on a Sunday" then I might be mildly interested.

dave225 (Dave225), Friday, 15 August 2003 18:08 (twenty-two years ago)

when i was in france 8 years ago, they called drinkable yoghurt YOP (short for "YOPLAIT"). it was much preferable to COLDPLAY.

Tad (llamasfur), Friday, 15 August 2003 18:17 (twenty-two years ago)

Woah fuck I was just thinking that! I've had hash brownies, cookies, meatloaf!, "ganja gooballs", tea made from stems-n-leaves, but never once YOGHURT!

pesto!! also mixes well with fresh bread (gives it a nice, earthy, herbal flavor)

geeta (geeta), Saturday, 16 August 2003 04:18 (twenty-two years ago)

Personally, I think Coldplay sucks. They have none of the factors that I think a band should have (funkiness a la Parliament Funkadelic, Trouble Funk or Stevie Wonder, jazziness a la Jimmy Smith, Herbie Hancock or Charlie Parker, Hardcoreness a la Black Flag, FEAR, Minor Threat, or Bad Brains, or Rockingness a la NY Dolls, MC5, or the Who). Yoplait also sucks though, compared to gettting a big tub of Stoney Creek Farms organic yogurt and mixing some fresh berries or fruit in it with some heated-up honey and a little granola.

Helltime Producto (Pavlik), Saturday, 16 August 2003 04:27 (twenty-two years ago)

I think since Coldplay are English, it should be strawberry yoplait. England is justly famous for its strawberries. And as the singer is partial to a bit of biffo, perhaps they could wrestle each other naked in strawberry yoplait. Do you agree? Do you like the mental image that creates?

colin s barrow (colin s barrow), Saturday, 16 August 2003 05:51 (twenty-two years ago)

Geeta will you marry me?

M Matos (M Matos), Saturday, 16 August 2003 06:09 (twenty-two years ago)

I already asked her, dude.

sundar subramanian (sundar), Saturday, 16 August 2003 19:33 (twenty-two years ago)

"I opened up a container of yogurt, and under the lid it said Please Try Again because they were having a contest I was unaware of. But I though I might have opened the yogurt wrong...or maybe Yoplait was trying to inspire me, 'c'mon, Mitchell, don't give up. Please try again. A message of inspiration from your friends at Yoplait. Fruit on the bottom, hope on top."

J (Jay), Saturday, 16 August 2003 19:36 (twenty-two years ago)

I already asked her, dude.
If we move to Utah and become mormons, we can ALL marry geeta.

one month passes...
TS: Coldplay if they were never seen without Mexican wrestling masks vs. Yoplait.

Imagine all their videos, their overwraught performances, with MEXICAN WRESTLING MASKS. Once you do, the band almost, dare I say it, seems lovable. Would they be better than Yoplait then?

what if this was Coldplay?

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Saturday, 20 September 2003 22:24 (twenty-two years ago)

¿Como se dice "GWAR" en español?

Little Big Macher (llamasfur), Saturday, 20 September 2003 22:28 (twenty-two years ago)

Thing is, bands that already sound playful really don't need masks. For some reason masked balladeers seem much more wonderful.
