C90: 24 Hours

C90 - songs that mention a specific time. (No songs about how none of us have enough time, blah.) Trying to make a tape that goes around the clock:

10:15 Saturday Night, mm hmm.
Neurotica - King Crimson: "Good Morning, it's 3AM in this great roaring city"
(Reluctantly)Twilight Zone - Golden Earring: "It's 2AM"
Thin Line Between Love and Hate - Persuaders: "It's Five o clock in the morning.."

Try to limit the number of "midnight" references ....

God, I wish I hadn't thought of "9 AM" by Londonbeat, I'll be singing it all day.

As an antidote, how about "Big shot" by Bark Psychosis - the first line is "It's 3AM", and it sounds like it.

I'm sure I can think of more given time (no pun intended)

Rob M (Rob M), Thursday, 14 August 2003 11:12 (twenty-two years ago)

There's always Joy Division's '24 Hours' if that would be in the remit of the tape. Also it would clash with Ronan's answer.
