May have been touched upon before, but I have two particular recollections. A favourite is a friend at the Freontier, local get beaten up if you look poofy club. Friend forgets his glasses so had to kneel before the screen, chooses to stare to the sky and belt out a horrific version of Queen's 'Somebody to Love' complete with wretched high notes. I am later able to impress people by saying "I know that guy!"

Less pleasant, at my unle;s pub in the same town. everyone join in a chorus of 'Who let the wogs out'.

When I was in Manchester, some boys at a bus stop once shouted "Who let the fag out?" at me.

I slightly recall a bunch of us belting out "Fight For Your Right (To Party)" at a cheesy karaoke bar, but I don't remember how I got there, why I was there or how I got home.
