I have no idea of what it is! If you cant ID the song, could you list artists that might have done it?

sounds a little bit like Microdisney

but that's a very common production sound for that era. difficult to say.

it's true- a bunch of mid-80s UK bands could've done it. Then Jerico or Danny Wilson or Love and Money or (god help us) Mummy Calls...the only sure thing is that it definitely isn't Microdisney (sigh). fun to research, though

Talking Heads?

Yess, a bunch of people could have done it. Its a very awsome intro to a song. Im looking up bands that could have done it. I guess the only real way is to either get a longer sample from the owner of the clip (which is impossible) or obtain releases by the artists that 'could have' done it.

Please keep the list going--brainstorm.
uhhh, think of people who used keyboards in the 80s....well that narrows it down to about 98% of all the bands out there....

This is going to be difficult.

Thrashing Doves perhaps?

Sounds quite like Thrashing Doves (or the one Thrashing Doves song I've heard at any rate). Sounds nothing like either Danny Wilson or Love & Money if that helps you narrow it down...
