CD burning programs

... does anyone know any good freeware besides Nero, which won't work on my machine? Help will be greatly appreciated, as I have to make some party cd's for my girlfriend's birthday party this saturday!

For PCs, if you have a general ability to create .wav files from .mp3s and navigate fairly geeky software, try burnatonce. I love this little guy.

I'd say invest a little time into getting Nero to work on your computer. It's worth it, really.

My external CD burner came with Nero, but it's a restricted version that doesn't allow cross-fading. How about freeware that does allow it? Anyone?

For y'all's info, cheetah (www.cheetahburner.com) works extraordinarily well, as long as your soundfiles are 44.1.
