Being a guitar player, I think mine would be the DeArmond Jetstar (Guild Thunderbird). Here's a pic of the one I bought new in San Jose for $85 at a Guitar Center blow-out sale, only mine is plastered with stickers of various bullshit now (early 2000, still in my stickering phase). I like it, and if I ever get famous, I want Fender (Owns Guild, owns DeArmond, used DeArmond name to make cheap Guild knockoffs, not unlike Squier, now abandoned DeArmond name, makes DeArmond/Guild-knockoff models under the Squier brand now) to make me a bunch of Jetstar/Thunderbirds, each with differend pickups, scales, control layouts, and one with a built in KAOSS pad like that guy who plays guitar for Beck has in his axe. But the body in itself looks sweet, and I feel lucky to not have seen anyone since that Lovin' Spoonful guy play anything with the same body. Here's the pic link (I dunno HTML).

I'd like Ampeg to give me one of those big "2001" monolith bass amp/cabinet setups.

Mind you, I don't know how the I would lug it around, but I would cross that bridge when it arrives.

More details, customize the shit, dammit! (Also, listen to "Oh Shit Frau Schmitt" by Der Wolf).

Helltime Producto (Pavlik), Friday, 22 August 2003 02:43 (twenty-two years ago)

it would be a paisley Vox AC30 with extra extra top boost and multiple spring reverbs

There you go. I think that that PavRock Signature Jetstar would have 2 active Seymour Duncan humbuckers with one of those Lace Sensors in the middle, a maple fretboard and a blue sparke sunburst finish.

Dude I'm totally gonna try and get Shure to make me a sig mic with a carcass made of green transparent glass so you can see all the circuitry and shit; I'm attempting to fashion a crude prototype using a Heineken long-neck, um, neck, the inards of a Shure 58 mic, a very sharp knife, a blow-torch, a 12-pack, and Motorhead playing full blast in the background.

Now that's my kinda signature gear.

geeta (geeta), Friday, 22 August 2003 06:03 (twenty-two years ago)

Now taking bids... How much dough is involved? I won't sell out for anything less than $100!
