who is the greatest musician ever in the world?

In my opinion the greatest musiciain is:

MOBY

Michael Jatas, Monday, 25 August 2003 03:43 (twenty-two years ago)

according to some guy I heard outside a shop on 9th Street, Moby's a "music producer."

hstencil, Monday, 25 August 2003 03:45 (twenty-two years ago)

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Girolamo Savonarola, Monday, 25 August 2003 03:47 (twenty-two years ago)

My favorite artist is Michael Jatas. I got his website from this site, check out the audio page on his site and I loved every song. I also listened to samples of tracks from his new demo CD which is coming soon! I love him. He is real hardcore. He also writes some slower tracks. I also heard his mixes and they are the BEST. A great new DJ / producer from Toronto. Keep up the good work Michael!

Dom Passantino (Dom Passantino), Monday, 25 August 2003 09:43 (twenty-two years ago)

Moby? As the greatest musician ever?? MOBY?? Come on! The boy's a bore!! I mean, sure, he knows his shit, and can play a lot of instruments, but he's got no spark! No persona! No surprise! No FLAVOUR! I liked him for a while, but then I stopped when I realized he's just an ultra-dull vegan (who, deep down, wishes he was a rock star).

Aside from my Mobashing, I'd say ol' Paul McCartney is the greatest ever. Sure, he hasn't done anything brilliant in a hell of a long time (save for the production on "Real Love"), but look at what he did with the Beatles and tell me that's not a whole lot of damn good songs. And not only was he good, but he was innovative, which is most important of all.

My runners up: Mozart, ME, and...I dunno...Ween.

The greatest musician ever is obvilously Timbaland. That beautiful man has made some timeless songs..

Jesper Andersson, Monday, 25 August 2003 21:10 (twenty-two years ago)

Timbaland can produce a hit, true. However, I answered this question in terms of "leaving a lasting musical impression" centuries from now.

Nichole Graham (Nichole Graham), Monday, 25 August 2003 21:52 (twenty-two years ago)

His gigs for Oct. 31 and Dec. 31 have already been canceled!

Sam J. (samjeff), Monday, 25 August 2003 22:11 (twenty-two years ago)

Alex, Jaz Coleman may not be the greatest musician ever, but he's certainly the most compellingly ugly.

colin s barrow (colin s barrow), Monday, 25 August 2003 22:27 (twenty-two years ago)
