I am completely in love with my Sennheiser HD280 headphones. They are big and bulky but they are a very good lower/mid-range monitor headphone. You can get a pair at Guitar Center for $105 out the door.
There is nothing better in the world than walking around my whitebread family values suburb with these gigantic technoid headphones and a Discman case and getting weird looks.
