Mike Taylor (mjt), Friday, 29 August 2003 00:32 (twenty-two years ago)

whos Geir?

Caitlin O'Neil (kurdtkobain205), Friday, 29 August 2003 00:59 (twenty-two years ago)

where has he been sighted Mike?

gaz (gaz), Friday, 29 August 2003 01:00 (twenty-two years ago)

whos Geir?

He's...well, he's a touch unusual...

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 29 August 2003 01:18 (twenty-two years ago)

i gotta admit, i laughed at his post of that 14 year old thread. non-musics!

Caitlin...don't try to reason with him!

gaz (gaz), Friday, 29 August 2003 01:24 (twenty-two years ago)

He's appeared on the "Cobain or Lennon?" thread. I'm not sure he's fully re-hit his stride yet.

Nick H, Friday, 29 August 2003 15:19 (twenty-two years ago)

He's also weighed in on the "O Superman" thread. (Per Geir, it's mostly dud.)

jaymc (jaymc), Friday, 29 August 2003 15:30 (twenty-two years ago)

He is the sole voice of sanity in this vast mentalist wasteland.

Larcole (Nicole), Friday, 29 August 2003 15:37 (twenty-two years ago)

this is a sad but true statement!

strongo hulkington (dubplatestyle), Friday, 29 August 2003 15:42 (twenty-two years ago)

surely you jest

amateurist (amateurist), Friday, 29 August 2003 16:12 (twenty-two years ago)

surely you = jess

amateurist (amateurist), Friday, 29 August 2003 16:12 (twenty-two years ago)

surly you, jess

amateurist (amateurist), Friday, 29 August 2003 16:12 (twenty-two years ago)

i can go on like this forever

amateurist (amateurist), Friday, 29 August 2003 16:13 (twenty-two years ago)

Geir always chooses the right time to come back to ILM, as usual.

donut bitch (donut), Friday, 29 August 2003 16:16 (twenty-two years ago)

I love Geir and am even starting to like threads started about him.

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 29 August 2003 16:25 (twenty-two years ago)

Seriously, this board would be a much better place if more people were like Geir.

Larcole (Nicole), Friday, 29 August 2003 16:31 (twenty-two years ago)

you mean pathologically obstinate?

amateurist (amateurist), Friday, 29 August 2003 16:32 (twenty-two years ago)

I was about to say, I can't quite deduce that sentiment entirely. I have a hunch, though.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 29 August 2003 16:50 (twenty-two years ago)

maybe things would be better if there weren't so many threads ABOUT the guy! admittedly this died down after the first euphoric burst some months ago but I fear this trend re-emerging, ie "Would Geir like 20-hole Doc Martens?" etc

s1utsky (slutsky), Friday, 29 August 2003 16:53 (twenty-two years ago)

It's not often you come across an individual who is 100% wrong about everything - that's why we welcome Geir back, the entertainment value is off the dial and into the stratosphere.

Dadaismus (Dada), Friday, 29 August 2003 16:59 (twenty-two years ago)

he is entertaining like that puppet featured aside eminem in the vma's would be entertaining after, oh, 60 or 70 hours.

amateurist (amateurist), Friday, 29 August 2003 16:59 (twenty-two years ago)

Ie, very.

Dom Passantino (Dom Passantino), Friday, 29 August 2003 19:50 (twenty-two years ago)

whos Geir?

Can I add this question to the FAQ?

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Friday, 29 August 2003 19:55 (twenty-two years ago)

i'm always amazed at how mean people are to geir
i mean,i always disagree with him,but i'm sure the same could be said for others on the board

robin (robin), Friday, 29 August 2003 19:59 (twenty-two years ago)

He is the sole voice of sanity in this vast mentalist wasteland.

-- Larcole (nicolew1...), August 29th, 2003.

this is a sad but true statement!

-- strongo hulkington (dubplatestyl...), August 29th, 2003.

Jess, I believe this means you are officially overdue for a vacation

J0hn Darn1elle (J0hn Darn1elle), Friday, 29 August 2003 20:01 (twenty-two years ago)

Julio Desouza (jdesouza), Saturday, 30 August 2003 10:08 (twenty-two years ago)

Please Geir, if you read this, stay here!

You make things more interesting.

mei (mei), Saturday, 30 August 2003 10:56 (twenty-two years ago)

Every village needs its oddball.

Barima (Barima), Saturday, 30 August 2003 13:05 (twenty-two years ago)

So ILx has what, seventy-four villages?

Curt1s St3ph3ns, Saturday, 30 August 2003 13:13 (twenty-two years ago)

Yes. This makes for a fuckload of child-raising.

Nate Patrin (Nate Patrin), Saturday, 30 August 2003 13:53 (twenty-two years ago)

Genesis: "Dancing With The Moonlit Knight"

(Since someone seems to have decided the other thread was a threat to ILM.)

Al Andalous, Saturday, 30 August 2003 14:47 (twenty-two years ago)

the thread about song titles? Yeah, what the fuck happened to that?

hstencil, Saturday, 30 August 2003 14:48 (twenty-two years ago)

Oops. Didn't realise that one of my all time Top 10 favourite songs had a title about dancing. :-)

Geir Hongro (GeirHong), Saturday, 30 August 2003 14:50 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm sure it's just metaphorical dancing.

(hstenicl, That's the one. I think one of the moderators has an itchy trigger finger. Or is there only one moderator on ILM? I can't keep track.)

Al Andalous, Saturday, 30 August 2003 15:08 (twenty-two years ago)

http://ilx.wh3rd.net/faq.php?board=2

Wow hstencil, you seem really broken up about this. More so then Geirbot himself.

They say that Geir is back
Well I've known him for oh so long
They say Geir is back
Well I never knew that he was gone
Still they say "Geir is back"
I know he's had his ups and downs
Well they say "Geir is back"
But in my heart he's always been around
