I hear a lot of things about these CDs. I've heard they are really dated. I've heard that they are better for listening than for dancing, and depending on who I talk to, I hear a lot of differing opinions about which one is the best/worst. Personally, I like Expeditions best, but what do I know?

I bought Expeditions but after listening to it for a while I realised it was actually not very good. It's definitely living room stuff, too.

Sasha's Global Underground 3 Disc 1 is probably the best mix in this kind of mellow style. Disc 2 starts off good but the second half is incredibly boring.

is that the San Fran. one? I like the first disc a lot, and i never really liked prog... the mixing is VERY good!

yeah, that's the san fran one. Starts off with some weird sample of this guy ranting about stuff. Some bastard stole the first disc at a party I had at my flat a while back (bastard) so I'm missing it badly right now :(

i really love the last track "calling your name"... proves how good prog can be when it actually tries. the whole disc is a really good example of key mixing... everthing sits together so unnbelievable well... this is obv typical of prog mixing, but this disc is better...

Yeah, that's right... I really want it now. Bastard bastard bastard.

three years pass...

i just sold my copy of vol 1 on amazon for £33! it's going for a lot more than this for some strange reason but i wanted a quick sale and there's no way it should be worth spending that much on anyway fules.

four years pass...

anyone knows similar mix to the first northern exposure? you know, midtempo trance-not-trance stuff. the later volumes are too fast/banging for my mood right now.

Some bedroom dj did a pretty good mix called Northern Exposure 3, i think. I know I have it but I can't find it. Similar style, pretty good mixing.
