Who wants a Lightning Bolt review?

I'm going to see them tonight at North Six in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

I've got clips if anyone needs to see them first, or I could just submit the review.

Cheers,
Shaun

I don't want a review as I'm bummed I can't go 'cause it's sold out (mostly because I wanted to see Wolf Eyes).

I'm getting my ticket at the door. I called this week and they said they'll start selling them at 8 p.m. I guess there's a chance it won't pan out, but it's worth the gamble, right?

eh, I guess. I hate crowded shows though so I'll probably pass.

All bands at Knitting Factory were pretty ace; I didn't have to pay though, so that's a total bonus.

Emil is awesome, straight up. The nicest man in American noise? Perhaps.

Wolf Eyes rocked the fuck out.

Lightning Bolt were good. They're more fun to see in Providence, though. People in New York are too concerned with getting to look at them to dance (that's not to say that they don't dance, just that dancing is not the primary concern of their violent movements.)

Didn't go to Northsix. Didn't feel like paying to be disgusted with the hipster shitheads. Would've liked to see Carlos & Lee though.

what's the difference between NorthSix and Knitting Factory (aside from one being in Brooklyn and the other being in Manhattan)?

I heard it was supposed to be Carlos, Lee and Jim.

I'm going to see Wolf Eyes, Emil, and Hair Police tonight in Lexington. Lightning Bolt is not with them, but Wolf Eyes and Emil are cause for celebration.

h, it WAS carlos, Lee and Jim....and it sucked.

Emil was AWESOME btw.

& the N.6 show was more MEATHEADZ than HIPSTERZ...but i guess there isn't much of a difference betwixt the two.

Hair Police too are cause for celebration; that sounds like an awesome show.

It's fucking New York City, there are "hipster shitheads" everywhere.

Yeah, they're great too! They just play shows here all the time since they're from Lexington. They've all worked at the radio station with me for the longest time it's easy to take them for granted.
