it really is a very fragile record. the bubba sparxx comparison fits best because they're both very sad but although tims production is dense and surprising the nappy roots record seems more varied... i mean, i think it's too easy to understand a timbaland rhythm pattern and after listening to it regularly it becomes stolid and stationary whereas the variation of the nappy roots record whilst remaining sad and fragile is more fun to explore and obviously it's lyrically superior... well not obviously but i find bubba's so flat and emotionless which surely effects the content of his rhymes
