Well that didn't work very bloody well, did it?

Ok here it is:

Four splendid new bands, people playing really good records between the bands and afterwards til 1am, doors 8pm, only three quid in but as I mentioned, I'm on the door so just say "ILX" or similar and mate's rates of some description will apply.

NB. BMM operates a strict "no cunts" policy to keep the Nathan Barleys at bay...

(yes, this clashes with an ILX birthday celebration, I know, so apologies. Still, food for thought...)

Grrr! They've taken the bloody flyer down. A little prematurely, I'd say, since it's not til tonight, but there you go.

It's at the Strongroom Bar on Curtain Road, which is opposite 333 off Old St. The venue's down a little side road opposite the Barley Mow boozer. Bands include:

The Government - sexed-up Geordie art-rock
Six Toes - Breathless dual-guitar folk attack
Axis Of Eedjits - Can the Ceilidh Killers pull it off?
and someone else cool TBC

For afters - a late night, low light, mellow mileu with DJs Chris Gidman and The Ossicles.

It's their 1st birthday, don'tcha know?

I'll go now.
