Wouldn't it be nice?

hector (hector), Sunday, 7 September 2003 01:01 (twenty-two years ago)

wouldn't it be overkill?

gabbo giftington (dubplatestyle), Sunday, 7 September 2003 01:05 (twenty-two years ago)

They should do a Beach Boys cover?

(Huh... Have I only dreamt this or have you actually posted such a propsition on several earlier occasions, hector?)

(And I have asked also a similar question in return?...)

t\'\'t (t\'\'t), Sunday, 7 September 2003 01:08 (twenty-two years ago)

Perhaps they should call their joint alb Zen And The Art Of Déjà Vu Maintenance.

t\'\'t (t\'\'t), Sunday, 7 September 2003 01:15 (twenty-two years ago)

what sort of overkill? maybe each of their strengths would come to the fore.

the surface noise (electricsound), Sunday, 7 September 2003 01:33 (twenty-two years ago)

well, when two peoples strengths are the same, i guess it's overkill...like a deep fried mars bar.

gabbo giftington (dubplatestyle), Sunday, 7 September 2003 02:15 (twenty-two years ago)

hey man don't dis the d.f.m.b.

the surface noise (electricsound), Sunday, 7 September 2003 02:24 (twenty-two years ago)

you havent actually EATEN one have you?

gabbo giftington (dubplatestyle), Sunday, 7 September 2003 03:00 (twenty-two years ago)

of course! mmmm

the surface noise (electricsound), Sunday, 7 September 2003 03:05 (twenty-two years ago)

you magnificent bastard.

gabbo giftington (dubplatestyle), Sunday, 7 September 2003 03:05 (twenty-two years ago)

Absolutely nothing compared to the horror of deep fried pizza slices in Scotland. Dear lord.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Sunday, 7 September 2003 03:20 (twenty-two years ago)

the scotch will fry anything a twinkie you name it.
I am pretty sure i didnt post this befor somewhere although i have listed the fennesz album in a number of posts.

It could be overkill or it could be like spacemen 3

hector (hector), Sunday, 7 September 2003 07:06 (twenty-two years ago)

(Aaaa-raiiight... Maybe my own déjà vu maintenance manager is overreaching itself a bit, then)

Having slept on it, the collab idea appears very appetising to me now. Fennezs and Shields have both proven themselves imaginative and flexible fellows. It's a pity they'll probably never get anything done together, IRL.

t\'\'t (t\'\'t), Sunday, 7 September 2003 08:47 (twenty-two years ago)

Julio Desouza (jdesouza), Sunday, 7 September 2003 11:14 (twenty-two years ago)

...or me and Julio down in the schoolyard?

t\'\'t (t\'\'t), Sunday, 7 September 2003 11:44 (twenty-two years ago)

(an awful idea?)

t\'\'t (t\'\'t), Sunday, 7 September 2003 12:02 (twenty-two years ago)

very awful.

Julio Desouza (jdesouza), Sunday, 7 September 2003 13:51 (twenty-two years ago)

darn, i 'm too 'good' at making awful jokes today.

t\'\'t (t\'\'t), Sunday, 7 September 2003 14:09 (twenty-two years ago)

too 'bad'.

Julio Desouza (jdesouza), Sunday, 7 September 2003 14:11 (twenty-two years ago)

I'd like to hear Kevin Shields and Timbaland do a song.

Johnny Badlees (crispssssss), Monday, 8 September 2003 12:13 (twenty-two years ago)

that would be cool, the timbaland thing, i wonder if shields can sing backwards?

hector (hector), Tuesday, 9 September 2003 03:34 (twenty-two years ago)

nah he'd just put reverse reverb on his voice

the surface noise (electricsound), Tuesday, 9 September 2003 03:36 (twenty-two years ago)
