when was the exact point the wars "died" down? (i think i just answered my own question)

i kinda have an idea that the dr dre song with nas was a turning point

what coast did you side with at the time? being 12 at the time i was an obsessive pac fanboy but i don't think i particularly took any side (my tape of doggystyle was backed with da onyx - bac da fuc up) and living in england i wasn't really sure what east coast/west coast meant exactly or at least what it meant to BE east or west coast apart from geographically obv.

and what records in hindsight define the conflict best? was it simply a media construction or did it have ground level roots?

two months pass...

The war never ended. It just looking for new ideas in how to smash the east coast. Know we have Ja Rule ridding with Death Row, and other big labels, but the thing is 50 Cent is also to make his mark. 50 Cent will be the next nigga that will get taken out of the game. Where once again Death Row and Murder Inc. will rise to top like they have been in the past, present and future. So just remember that we're just slacking of a little and also the west coast will come out on top like always.
