Where can I enter submissions to serious publications, online or otherwise. I'm tired of messing around, it's time I started seriously writing. All I need is someone to give me a site and I'll do the rest, thanks

Ronan Fitzgerald, Friday, 17 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

You ask this on the _Freaky Trigger_-associated board? Drop me a line, man! And if we're not serious enough, oh well. ;-)

Ned Raggett, Friday, 17 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Can I have a job too, Ned?

I don't take up too much space and I can survive on roots and grubers for months at a time.

(And I'm serious, here. It's up to you to decide about which part.) ;]

I should note for the assembled multitudes that we're a bunch of hippie-arty types who do things for the ART, man!

Translation -- all-volunteer, no money. But we can put you in a box somewhere in my room if you're up for that, Jess. ;-) Seriously, if you have an idea for an essay or something, review the site and get a hold of me...

Ned Raggett, Friday, 17 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Pfft...for the ART?? Forget man, now I don't believe in nothing. I'm going to law school... ;]

I knew FT was a non-profit (perhaps you can tithe the readers.)

But seriously, if I actually get off my ass (or continue to sit on my ass actually, and get motivated) and write something decent, I'll let you know.

(BTW, Neddy, I really enjoyed your Tool piece.)

Aw, franks. *love-in session ensues*

Ned Raggett, Friday, 17 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

would you all read a graphic novel about retarded animals if I wrote and illustrated it? This book idea has been flooding my head for a long time.

(the animals arent really retarded)

CaptainLorax, Thursday, 6 September 2007 01:39 (eighteen years ago)

I'm mostly amused by Jess and I engaging in emoticon wars up there! What the heck.

Ned Raggett, Thursday, 6 September 2007 01:41 (eighteen years ago)

strongohulkington, Thursday, 6 September 2007 02:04 (eighteen years ago)

THANKS NED

strongohulkington, Thursday, 6 September 2007 02:04 (eighteen years ago)

i think it went wrong when it was originally posted in music

CaptainLorax, Thursday, 6 September 2007 02:31 (eighteen years ago)

Well, I got a job writing show reviews for a magazine that is not very good. What is a nice way to say "Dudes, can I also edit your website, cause y'all can not spell the letter L"?

roxymuzak, Saturday, 15 September 2007 03:42 (eighteen years ago)

Before you even think about offering to do that, confirm that you will get some more money for doing so. THEN figure out the nice way.

Ned Raggett, Saturday, 15 September 2007 03:48 (eighteen years ago)

also, maybe work for them first, before telling them that they can't spell.

scott seward, Saturday, 15 September 2007 04:23 (eighteen years ago)

Done. But should I be ashamed to work for a place that can't spell?
