You may be on to something with Alchemist as underrated. The man seems to have very poor taste in chosing (or being chosen by) rappers to work with (qf The Nextmen).

I mean, in the same way that The Nextmen pick rappers below their abilities as beatdoctors.

Alchemist is underrated??? I haven't heard anything but praise for him and comparisons to the greats.

oops (Oops), Wednesday, 17 September 2003 21:00 (twenty-two years ago)

yeah i guess though 'comparisons to the greats' = 'dude is biting premo hard' , which he is but hes also been better than premo since last about year or so

speaking of underrated beatmakers stuck with mcs below their skills MATHEMATICS is releasing a solo album but its got all these supreme team killarmy retards on it, my boy should be cooking beats for fuckin 50 and jigga not killa b-teamers and rzas trainwreck flow

Alchemist deserves to be up there with Havoc at least, he just needs that one MTV clip to put him in the mainstreams field of vision.

you heard '4th of july' with Prodigy and 1st Infanty. Now that is one of the fucking beats of 2003 so far. Widescreen....

three months pass...
noyd is reppen QB to the fullest and anybody who is hating on his gansta lyrics is to pussy to have the record in the first place. Keep it real alchmist and continue to rep the streets.

I've never really heard a bad Big Noyd verse but his ep and album were pretty shitty and not really worth owning if you've already got the two singles ("recognize and realize" and "bang bang", respectively) off them.

Alchemist has really fell off nowadays but i'd rather hear his beats with average Q.B dunns like Lakey The Kid, Littles, Infamous Mob etc over the top talking about selling drugs, guns and casual violence than boring backpacker clowns like Dilated Peoples rapping about..whatever the hell they rap about.

what up cousin? I can't cope...

Dee is very atypical on this thread.
