RFI: Buying records on the Internet

Apologies if this has been done before:

For the first time ever, I'm considering buying a CD or two from the Internet. The slight problem is that the record(s) I want aren't issued here (that's the UK) and they seem to be far cheaper if you order from the US. But a lot of US organisations won't despatch to the UK. Are there any recommendations of companies to buy from in the US who'll despatch to the UK?

(One of the two records is on Amazon, but it's a bit dear, I'd rather get it as cheaply as possible)

And if you're interested, it's the new Kingsbury Manx EP and LP that I'm so desperate for as I'm unsure if they're getting issued in the UK as yet. I simply cannot live without new Kingsbury Manx music. So, find me a company that will sell their new records to me!

Thanks, as ever.

Forced Exposure ist sehr gut; but I don't think they stock the Kingsbury Manx EP/LP. http://www.notlame.com/store/home.asp does.

Typical - a friend of mine always gets stuff through Not Lame, I didn't even think of trying there! Doh!

from the US, if they have what you want, you can't go past tonevendor.com

buying records on the net is not scary - i get 95% of my music that way. and that's a LOT of records

What label is that Kingsbury Max on? You might just order from them directly, esp. if it's on Merge.

It's on Overcoat Records, I've been through their website and they direct orders through Thrill Jockey who don't have the new Kingsbury Manx in stock as yet. Both ToneVendor and Not Lame have the new EP, and a good friend has offered to sort it out through Not Lame for me, so hurrah! I'll be happy soon.
