Songs with calendar months in the title... help?

OK, so I was inspired by the earlier thread about September, which reminded me of a compilation I wanted to make ages ago that contained ONLY songs with month names in the title. I got pretty close, but couldn't get all 12, so I gave up. I'm SURE the fine folks of ILM can help me with some unfinished business... Here's what I can remember as a starting point:

JAN - January's Little Joke / Trash Can Sinatras
APR - April 5th / Talk Talk
- April Skies / Jesus & Mary Chain
SEP - Setember Girls / Big Star (and all the other ones from the eariler thread)
OCT - October / U2
NOV - November Spawned A Monster / Morrissey
DEC - December / Teenage Fanclub

Boards Of Canada - June 9th
BT - Flaming June

stevem (blueski), Monday, 22 September 2003 16:10 (twenty-two years ago)

Interesting that two songs called "Fourth of July" have been mentioned but neither is the classic by X. For purity, though, I think your comp should only include songs whose title is the month name exactly, nothing more, nothing less, such as...

February - Thinking Fellers Union Local
August - Love
September - Earth, Wind and Fire
November - Tom Waits
December - The Trouble Dolls

Siegbran (eofor), Monday, 22 September 2003 21:05 (twenty-two years ago)

Julie London released an album called "Calendar Girl" in 1956 with a track for each month AND then going one better than anyone with special bonus track "The Thirteenth Month"!!! Several of the songs are a bit rub though.

Tom (Groke), Monday, 22 September 2003 21:12 (twenty-two years ago)

and then there was the "working holiday" comp that simple machines put out in the mid 90s, collecting a year's worth of singles from a series in which every song was supposed to be about a holiday from the time of the year it was released. amazingly enough, only one song on the album mentions a month, but that does give you one more january song to choose from:

"11:59 It's January" - Scrawl
