Groovski are the Polish Feelies. wait, the Feelies weren't Polish, were they? in any case, they do songs about jetpacks and have that infectious guitar sound that i hesitate to call VU-inspired cuz it sounds lame but its probably true. el gran silencio are MY-T-Fine by me as well.

over the rhine haven't done shit worth shinola in 10 years almost.... hmm... if they pulled out the goods, that's good news. the wife'll be pleased... (one of her favorite bands... her musical taste completely solidified around 1994 or so.)
