Who is the Best One-Hit Wonder Band/Artist?

have you ever lashed out at the world because they've given up on a band who continue to release great records after their "hit"? whose lack of success post-15 minutes has caused you the most heartbreak? (this, of course, is going to be broken up along cultural lines. in america, i can say soft cell, a-ha, and, my personal choice, dexy's midnight runners and have it ring true. my friends in europe can't say the same.)

fred solinger, Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

The Kingsmen's version of "Louie Louie" would be one answer, but that would be "rockist" and therefore wrong. "Goody Two Shoes" would be the official ILM correct answer, except it wasn't a hit anywhere but England where people actually buy that kind of crap. Oh wait, that has guitars on it. Two legs bad.

So it'll have to be Disco Tex and the Sex-o-letts' "Get Dancin'".

fritz, Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Whatever happened to Skee-Lo? :)

Nitsuh, Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Daaaaaaamn. Nitsuh took my answer.

He's still drivin around in his hatchback, I suspect.

Jess, Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

right said fred

Jeff, Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

But RSF have three bona fide hits to their name - 'I'm too sexy', 'don't talk, just kiss', and the divine 'Deeply Dippy'. Or maybe they don't in America.

Does anyone else find it amusing to refer to Republican Sinn Fein as the Freds?

The Dirty Vicar, Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

ONE HIT? Right Said Fred? The I'm Too Sexy, Don't Talk Just Kiss, Deeply Dippy troika must not be broken! Oh, is this one of those 'cultural lines' things?

The Rah Band

Nick, Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

you're both right on the 3 hits, I stand corrected.

Jeff, Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

What about the Zombies?

nathalie, Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

The Zombies had three bona fide hits in the U.S.: "Tell Her No," "She's Not There," and "Time of the Season." That's one case where the cultural difference actually favors this side of the ocean.

And "Goody Two Shoes" was a hit in the U.S.! Don't have the actual chart placing, but at least top 20, I'd think -- if not top 10.

scott p., Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Scott P is right, that's how I first heard about Mr. Ant, actually. And he did get a hit in 1990 with "Room at the Top" over here, so hey.

What Fred said about Soft Cell, of course. I would also name the Associates, though that would be more UK than US focused. But oh, imagine if "Partyfearstwo" had been a smash over here...

Ned Raggett, Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Arrggh. Have some pity on me and ignore that stupid spiteful xenophobic comment at the top. I'm quitting smoking and snapping mad at nothing. Apologies.

I like "Goody Two Shoes" fer crying out loud.

fritz, Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

In the US: Kraftwerk ("Autobahn")

In the UK: Orange Juice ("Rip It Up")

scott p., Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Rockist schmockist. I'm quitting smoking too, Fritz. Well, trying to. Good luck to you.

So anyway--Norman Greenbaum-"Spirit in the Sky"

Arthur, Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Ditto rockist-shmockist. My choice is ? & the Mysterians, "96 Tears"

M. Matos, Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Spirit in the Sky gets my vote, but I have to throw The La's in just for kicks...

JM, Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Skee-Lo! Damn, the flashbacks are MASSIVE.

Dan Perry, Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

what was abba's chart record in the u.s.? #1 for "dancing queen," #1 club for "lay all your love on me," but how else did they fare?

i'd add t. rex to the list. what about elvis costello? has he had a hit besides "veronica" in the u.s.?

fred solinger, Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

With regards to Right Said Fred: just as long as you don't bring up "You're My Mate". Man oh man.

David, Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

'Jilted john' - Jilted John.
End of thread.

DavidM, Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Imagine my anger when Dexy's was voted #1 one-hit-wonder on VH1's top ten show thingy. If only America knew the brilliance that is Geno.

marianna, Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I really must not have been following the radio in the mid-nineties, I have no freakin' idea who the hell Skee-Lo is...

Ned Raggett, Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Ned, if you don't remember Skee-Lo, how did you know when he had his hit? Hmm... ; )

scott p., Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Haw haw.

Skee-Lo was a, um, I hestitate to say novelty rapper since I really do like the song, but he was a one hit wonder of early 90s rap. His whole shtick was that he was a short, broke, nerdy brother who got no play. (His hit was "I Wish." "I wish I was a little bit taller, I wish I was a baller..." You get the idea.)

jess, Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

For that matter, where the hell is Young MC??

jess, Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

The AMG works wonders, Scott. ;-) But having been given more info from there, I realized I knew nothing of him -- at all.

Ned Raggett, Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

There's a bunch...

* Trio -- the "DA Da Da" song... I picked up a used copy of the album. Terrible.

* Trans X "Living On Video"

* Jigsaw "Sky High"

* Laid Back "White Horse"

* Magazine 60 "Don Quichotte"

* Falco "Rock Me Amadeus"

* Frank Zappa "Valley Girl"

Brian MacDonald, Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

How about:

New Radicals-You Get What You Give Reunion-Life Is a Rock Andy Pratt-Avenging Annie

And would Neneh Cherry be considered a one hit wonder? Did anything else other than "Buffalo Stance" chart?

Arthur, Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Elastica: Connection

JM, Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I vote for ? and mysterians too else soft cell

maryann, Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Skee-Lo did a cover for the "Schoolhose Rock ROCKS!" comp, along with those other one-hit wonders Blind Melon.

Did anyone like the film "That Thing You Do"? I have seen it so many times at my cousins' house that I cannot be counted on for any opinion of the movie, objective or subjective.

1 1 2 3 5, Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Friend gave me best of a-ha as going away present (along with best of Roxette). The a-ha album is magnificent from start to finish -- I wish I had known sooner. Blind Melon only deserved one hit. Cf. Spin Doctors. Elastica are only a one-hit phenomina at all in the states -- the UK folks, as I understand it, were granted a string of mag. singles. My choice would be Romeo Void, who rode the jazz/funk angle of post-punk to the highest crest. Back when 13, I would have classified The Ramones there, as all we ever heard on the radio was "I Wanna Be Sedated" (right around when it came up in My So Called Life and other such key ref. points) and for all I knew, that was the extent of their success. We would do the finger pointing like a gun thing while he sang "bam bam bam bam buh bam bam bam bam" and feel cool. Hell, we were cool!

Also: The Primitives, of whom Crash remains to all US denizens their only worthwhile accomplishment (thus neglecting the even more fab singles, such as "Secrets").

Sterling Clover, Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Brian -- I like that Trio EP! Very goofy, minimal take on surf-styled New Wave. "Oh Ah-na, Anna, oh Ah-na."

Speaking of goofy Germans, I've heard "Autobahn" touted as a hit many times (and I know the single charted), but in 25 years of listening to American radio I don't remember hearing it. Maybe on a college station.

Back to the question: It's gotta be "Louie Louie" or "Surfin' Bird."

Mark, Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Brian, also: Aren't you forgetting about "Der Kommissar" (sp) by Falco? Who turned that into a U.S. hit, by the way? Now THAT group was a one-hit wonder...

Mark, Monday, 20 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

After the Fire did the English version of "Der Komissar". Alles clar? :) Actually, I like that version more than Falco's (though Falco's video is cooler).

Joe, Tuesday, 21 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Did Survivor have any other hits after 'Eye of the Tiger'?

dave q, Tuesday, 21 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Survivor also had "burning heart" in early 1986, from one of the Rocky sequels. The cover of Der Kommissar was by After the Fire, who were not one-hit wonders in the UK ("laser Love" and a couple of others) but Der Kommissar wasn't a hit here.

MarkH, Tuesday, 21 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

sorry Joe, didn't see your answer on ATF ;-) 1979 and 1980 were good for one-hit wonders....Charlene "I've Never Been to me", Fern Kinney's "together we are beautiful", Lena Martell "One Day at a time".

1987-88 too..."Prime Mover" by Zodiac Mindwarp & the Love Reaction, Carey Johnson's "Real Fashion Reggae Style", Scarlet Fantastic's "No Memory"....

MarkH, Tuesday, 21 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

neneh cherry had a couple of hits after buffalo stance.. (buddy X, woman, 7 seconds) and raw like sushi was a great album..

"DJ Pied Piper & The Masters Of Ceremonies - Do You Really Like It?" or am i jumping the gun?

jk, Tuesday, 21 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Whatever became of Patrick 'Born to be Alive' Hernandez

dave q, Tuesday, 21 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

*enters thread urgently brandishing copy of Billboard's Top Pop Singles*

Right Said Fred = one-hit wonder (stateside)

The Primitives and Elastica = no-hit wonders (Primitives failed to crack the Hot 100, "Connection" did make it but not in the top 40)

Elvis Costello = two-hit wonder (the other one = "Everyday I Write The Book". Neneh Cherry and Falco too.

ABBA had 14 top 40 hits, with "Dancing Queen" the only # 1, and "Waterloo", "Take A Chance On Me" and "The Winner Takes It All" also hitting the top 10.

Survivor, the Kingsmen and ? & the Mysterians all had several hits.

A single edit of "Autobahn" indeed made # 25 in 1975. I've never heard it on the radio either.

Patrick, Tuesday, 21 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Didn't Falco also have a hit with "Vienna Calling"? Also, I thought that Nenah Cherry hit with "Manchild" and a-ha hit with "The Sun Always Shines On TV" and "Cry Wolf".

The thread's gotten this far and no one's mentioned "Hippychick" by Soho. I really must be the only fan. (I saw them on a plane from Boston to London once. They're GORGEOUS.)

How many hits did Siouxsie and the Banshees have in the US? Did "Kiss Them For Me", "Face To Face", or "Peek-A-Boo" actually crack the top 40?

Dan Perry, Tuesday, 21 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Dan - "Kiss Them For Me" is Siouxsie's only US top 40 hit. "The Sun Always Shines on TV" made it, but not "Cry Wolf". "Manchild" no, "Kisses On The Wind" yes. "Vienna Calling" too.

Patrick, Tuesday, 21 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Dude, Adam Ant doesn't count anyhow, does NO ONE ELSE remember Strip? That was a big hit in the US, as well as Goody Two Shoes (which is the best song ever but Strip is pretty good too).

My vote would be Shaggy except he keeps making one-off hits, the bastard. How about Snow? I love that guy.

Ally, Tuesday, 21 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Saw that German music channel called Viva -RSF had about 3 songs inside the top 30, so presumably they're not one hit wonders over there...

Bill, Tuesday, 21 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

M/A/R/R/S - Pump up the volume. Set the template for anonymous dance platters - the music's what matters man (ah yeah).

Billy Dods, Tuesday, 21 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

DUDE! I forgot about Aqua until this second. Definitely Aqua.

Ally, Tuesday, 21 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Damn, I knew there was another group I meant to mention with a second hit! Ally reigns supreme AGAIN.

In a perfect world, Roxette would have been a one-hit wonder. Okay, "Listen To Your Heart" and "It Must've Been Love" aren't that bad, but "Joyride", "Dangerous", and "Dressed For Ungodly Cockfarming Success" are inexcusable. (My wife originally thought that song was called "Dressed For Some Sex", which would have made it 100s of times better.)

Dan Perry, Tuesday, 21 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

How Could I Possibly Forget Dept.: Lipps, Inc.-Funkytown

Also, I remember hearing "Autobahn" on the radio as a kid and thinking it was, like, really cool. I'm almost positive it was on FM, though, not AM Top 40.

Zodiac Mindwarp is playing at the Key Club here in LA in October. Weird. I wonder if Alex from Blur will be with him?

Arthur, Tuesday, 21 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

1) M/A/R/R/S 2) Cola Boy

s, Tuesday, 21 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

SHOCKING NEWS FLASH!!!!!!!

Discovered while rekkid shopping tonite: Skee-lo drops new album for the deuce double o one! Is he primed for a comeback? Or will this be his "Pumps N' A Bump?"

jess, Tuesday, 21 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

"pumps n' a bump"? more like "banana n' a leopard-print speedo." am i the only one who remembers the atrocity that was that video?

fred solinger, Tuesday, 21 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Fred: Not only do I remember the video, I remember when he was on Arsineo Hall and they replayed that... portion... in slow motion.

JM, Tuesday, 21 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

How about Mott the Hoople? I think they had only one U.S. hit. And how many XTC singles made the U.S. charts? Not many, I'll bet . . . .

Tom Lewis, Wednesday, 22 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

what about the "monster mash"?

lady die, Thursday, 23 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

alan o malley, Thursday, 29 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Those guys who did La Macarena are great. They took the money and ran, and didn't embarrass themselves by trying to do a followup.

DV, Thursday, 29 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

one year passes...
Law is defenitly the best One-Hit-Wonder band.
The Song is called XXX

Alexander Wilke, Thursday, 9 January 2003 19:59 (twenty-three years ago)

DEAD OR ALIVE (in the US, at least)

Curtis Stephens, Thursday, 9 January 2003 20:05 (twenty-three years ago)

Flaming Lips - (She Don't use Jelly)

christoff (christoff), Thursday, 9 January 2003 20:16 (twenty-three years ago)

The Boo Radleys. I know they had minor follow up hits with It's Lulu and C'mon Kids, but does anyone really remember much apart from "Wake Up Boo!"? Fucks sake! People really need to get a grip on reality!

dog latin (dog latin), Thursday, 9 January 2003 20:50 (twenty-three years ago)

Somewhere around here I've got a quite old magazine clipping of an article about Beck being some sort of "one-hit wonder spokesman for Generation X's slackerdom run amok"...which, of course, was published 2 entire years before Odelay was released.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Thursday, 9 January 2003 21:02 (twenty-three years ago)

Dead or Alive had two US hits ("You Spin Me Round" and "Brand New Lover")

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Thursday, 9 January 2003 21:21 (twenty-three years ago)

I hope my comments on Skee-Lo, above, predate the Skee-Lo bootleg revival!

nabisco (nabisco), Thursday, 9 January 2003 21:27 (twenty-three years ago)

"In the UK: Orange Juice ("Rip It Up")"

Edwyn did have a solo hit 11 years later with "A Girl Like You" 'though, doesn't that disqualify him?

Of course at that rate he's due another one in a couple of years time.

Stewart Osborne (Stewart Osborne), Thursday, 9 January 2003 21:30 (twenty-three years ago)

chuck jackson

"Any day now" was sterling. I saw him at the apollo perform that, as part of a classics section and he sounded and looked as if he barely aged

robert lashley (brotherman), Friday, 10 January 2003 00:09 (twenty-three years ago)

what about musical youth - "pass the dutchie"

jonathan, Friday, 10 January 2003 00:28 (twenty-three years ago)

`Tweren't really a "hit" per se, but I'll go with Belfegore for "All That I Wanted."

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Friday, 10 January 2003 00:45 (twenty-three years ago)

"Rump Shaker', unless "New Jack Swing" was a bigger hit than I remember.

Jaynetts - "Sally Go 'Round The Roses"
Freak Nasty - "Da Dip"

Garrett, Friday, 10 January 2003 19:05 (twenty-three years ago)

Ben Folds Five..."Brick" soooo did not do them any justice. Worst Ben Folds Five song evah!

nickalicious (nickalicious), Friday, 10 January 2003 19:10 (twenty-three years ago)

Skee-Lo, technically speaking, did have another hit over here, which
was entitled Top Of The Stairs, and which I ain't got a clue as to
the sound of, but I do remember it happening, somehow.

And Edwyn Collins had another solo hit, too - The Magic Piper, which I do believe was the theme tune to the first Austin Powers fillum.

William Bloody Swygart (mrswygart), Friday, 10 January 2003 19:12 (twenty-three years ago)

Skee-Lo, technically speaking, did have another hit over here, which
was entitled Top Of The Stairs, and which I ain't got a clue as to
the sound of, but I do remember it happening, somehow. Also, according to AMG, he is very similar to Berlin. Who I don't think anyone's mentioned yet...

And Edwyn Collins had another solo hit, too - The Magic Piper, which I do believe was the theme tune to the first Austin Powers fillum.

William Bloody Swygart (mrswygart), Friday, 10 January 2003 19:14 (twenty-three years ago)

Oh, so I DID hit post that first time...

William Bloody Swygart (mrswygart), Friday, 10 January 2003 19:15 (twenty-three years ago)

Gloria Gaynor?

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Friday, 10 January 2003 19:16 (twenty-three years ago)

one month passes...
Lou Vega's Mambo # 5 was definitely the worst one hit wonder ever. Also there was Blur's song 2 that had some success. Not to mention Buckcherry's Lit Up which proved they loved the cocaine too much.

Greg, Thursday, 27 February 2003 00:52 (twenty-three years ago)

I can't believe that no one has mentioned that Lou Reed has only had one American hit single.

Christine "Green Leafy Dragon" Indigo (cindigo), Thursday, 27 February 2003 01:30 (twenty-three years ago)

unfortunately i think Lou fails the one-hit-wonder definition in a number of ways..

electric sound of jim (electricsound), Thursday, 27 February 2003 01:32 (twenty-three years ago)

Starland Vocal Band - Afternoon Delight
This goes back a ways, but it was a mega huge hit one summer when I was about 11 or so. Dreck then, dreck now, dreck always.

Davlo (Davlo), Thursday, 27 February 2003 01:55 (twenty-three years ago)

Did A Foot In Coldwater have any hits other than the utterly classic "Anything You Want" (at least the version with the strings)?

sundar subramanian (sundar), Thursday, 27 February 2003 02:19 (twenty-three years ago)

Also, did Chilliwack chart with anything other than "Fly At Night"? Not that I know if these bands have done any other good records though.

sundar subramanian (sundar), Thursday, 27 February 2003 02:20 (twenty-three years ago)

George McCrae is, without a doubt, THE GREATEST ONE-HIT WONDER OF ALL TIME!!!!

Evan (Evan), Thursday, 27 February 2003 03:45 (twenty-three years ago)

two years pass...
How about Eddie Brickell and the New Bohemians? Thats actually one that I wish would have continued with more releases

Techspy, Tuesday, 29 March 2005 12:00 (twenty-one years ago)

Freiheit and Alphaville were both UK one hit wonders and both great.

Geir Hongro (GeirHong), Tuesday, 29 March 2005 12:12 (twenty-one years ago)

If we're not counting people like Iggy Pop, then I go with the Waitresses - although I'm not crazy about their hit.

dave225 (Dave225), Tuesday, 29 March 2005 12:28 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm one of those who doesn't count cult album artists as one hit wonders, so it's:
M - Pop Music

The Sensational Sulk (sexyDancer), Tuesday, 29 March 2005 12:54 (twenty-one years ago)

I think the winner has to be Thunderclap Newman ("Something in the Air").

Curious George Finds the Ether Bottle (Rock Hardy), Tuesday, 29 March 2005 13:00 (twenty-one years ago)

The Regents - 7 Teen

I blame the musicians union strike of 1980. Top of the Pops was off air for three months, apparently.

mnm, Tuesday, 29 March 2005 13:02 (twenty-one years ago)

Is there an American equivilant to Dexy's Midnight Runners? An American band that had a string of well-received records here, but that in the UK is considered a complete one-off? Trying to think of one.

Mark (MarkR), Tuesday, 29 March 2005 14:36 (twenty-one years ago)

D@ve M*t7wews?

dave225 (Dave225), Tuesday, 29 March 2005 14:41 (twenty-one years ago)

Indeep! Sure 'Last night a dj saved my life' is awesome (and at the risk of becoming a big fucking bore about it, beg fight steal or msg me to see a copy of the video of this song - the cardigan-wearing euro kid crowd! the girls! the dresses! the dancing! the dancing! the comedy proto-Richard X rap!) but they also had 'The Record Keeps Spinning' which is just as good if not more so. And 'When Boys Talk' is pretty great too. There's probably more but the best of album I ordered (unfindable on any p2p, annoyingly) is delayed in transit.

Affectian (Affectian), Tuesday, 29 March 2005 21:17 (twenty-one years ago)

Somedays I think I only love one-hit wonder acts. More for the pile:

The Flirts. 'Passion' is the most well known, not sure if it was actually a chart hit in the US or Europe but everyhit.com tells me it didn't enter the UK top 40, which surprises me. Anyway, they have TONS of other equally great songs. Bobby O used this song as a template for many of his other acts too (Roni Griffiths - 'Desire', New York Models - 'Fashion'), all worth hearing.

Denise Lopez. Again, no UK chart success (how did she do in Europe / USA?) but I think 'Sayin Sorry (don't make it right)' is pretty well known . 'Don't you wanna be mine' is her other classic track and the adorable 'Casua u' too.

Affectian (Affectian), Tuesday, 29 March 2005 21:32 (twenty-one years ago)

Stiltskin. "Inside", tee hee hahahahahahaha

Si Carter (Si Carter), Tuesday, 29 March 2005 21:39 (twenty-one years ago)

Swingers - Counting The Beat. Hands down best 1 hit wonder I can think of that doesn't make me vomit. Sure, it makes me retch occasionally, but not vomit.

VegemiteGrrl (VegemiteGrrl), Wednesday, 30 March 2005 03:15 (twenty-one years ago)

Deee-Lite!

Another official ILM answer...

Laszlo Kovacs (Laszlo Kovacs), Wednesday, 30 March 2005 04:07 (twenty-one years ago)

Q Lazarus - Goodbye Horses

The Sensational Sulk (sexyDancer), Wednesday, 30 March 2005 04:17 (twenty-one years ago)

andrea true connection - "more more more"

reo, Wednesday, 30 March 2005 04:23 (twenty-one years ago)

Deee-Lite may have had only one hit, but had a great album to go with that one.

Geir Hongro (GeirHong), Wednesday, 30 March 2005 09:20 (twenty-one years ago)

I will always hold a soft spot for "Possum Kingdom" by the Toadies.

Roadkill Bingo (Roadkill Bingo), Wednesday, 30 March 2005 13:28 (twenty-one years ago)

Sgt. Barry Sadler "Ballad of the Green Berets"
Not even Barry Gordy let alone Barry Sadler could come up with a follow up to this one.

The Trashmen "Surfing Bird"
This song is insane. I've always wondered what their other recordings sounded like.

earlnash, Wednesday, 30 March 2005 13:33 (twenty-one years ago)

Hum.
