thanks maria. you are nice. and thanks for the pie! and thanks for letting me sleep in too. after you went to bed i had more beer and listened to more Katatonia and then i had some pie. so the extra sleep really came in handy this morning.

Is it terribly sexist to say that women seem to be a lot more demanding than men when it comes to birthday expectations? Scott, for instance, is apparently happy as a clam to do nothing on his birthday but eat pie and listen to loud music. He's easy to please. I love the lummox.
