Windows Media format is incompaible with the iPod, which has the largest portion of the portable MP3 player market. I don't blame Apple for not going with WM (obviously it's their mandate), but I do think Napster are out to lunch to let Windows bully the market like this.

Christ, I did not know that Michael. Napster's going with Windows Media? How shortsighted can you get?
And this Mac user just pre-registered at Napster. What a waste.

You got the salient facts right, ie. the part about the crushing.

six months pass...
Digital media is truly the best way to go because, it'll always be there, theres no CD to scratch, and no CD-R's to buy Just a slim, sleek Mp3 Player, or a hot Pocket Pc. It saves money, and time. The best Mp3 player I have found yet is the RCA TM. LYRA TM.which can hold up to 4 hours of music. I find the iPod to be way too expensive and rediculuss... (is that how you spell that?) nobody even have 4 weeks of digital media, as it is supposed to hold.

I do, David Joe Holland, if that's your REAL name.

Does anyone actually use the new legal Napster?
