I find this idea funny on at least 3 1/2 levels. It's gonna have lines like "striving through the labynth of doom for the prize" and "he battles in vain against the evil overLO-O-O-O-ORDah!" And then dogshow people will someday come across it and think "What the fuck?" and unwitting prog-metal fans will hear it and then see the dog show on tv and think "what the fuck?".

the best Dio songs are the one's where he kind of acknowledges what a pathetic little runt he is, like "Rainbow In The Dark" and "I've Could Have Been A Dreamer." Just make sure that your lyrics actually WORK somewhat as a metaphor and not just random prog-metal images. Then you can be on VH1 Classic!
