Dud or dud: accidentally ordering only one AC/DC ticket and having to disappoint your friend bitterly

Damnation! I managed to get through to the carlinglive.com site this morning for tickets to the 10 quid AC/DC show in London next week, then like a fool accidentally clicked the 'order one ticket' button, rather than order two. Now I face the shaming responsibility of letting down one of my best mates due to clickular idiocy.

What to do, ILM-ers? And is it intensely sad to go to gigs on your own? Normally I'd not even consider it, but this is the 'DC, and circumstances may force me to attend, guilt 'issues' aside.

I should also point out that by the time I clicked back to try and rectify the situation, all tickets were gone. oh bugger.

the right thing=give the ticket to your pal or, at least, offer.

damn straight it would be, but the tickets are non-transferable, I should also have mentioned. You have to take along a print-out of a confirmation e-mail from the ticket agency to the venue, together with your passport or driver's licence, to claim a wristband, in a rather severe attempt to eliminate touting/scalping (depending on whether you prefer UK or US parlance).

So there is an inbuilt extra element of guilt here - I can't give the ticket away!

Lend him your drivers license (without the photocard obv)

It gets worse: I don't have a driver's licence in the first place so this would require a spot of Face/Off action to lend him my passport.

Man, if I were your friend I'd be calling 362-436 right now...

Don't plenty of people in the US not have a passport or driver's licence? This new anti-tout measure sounds a bit nuts.

What would 362-436 get you then?
