Really up and down catalog, very easy to get burned by crap.
"New Hope for the Wretched" -- fair to good trash, much more careless punk rock than metal. "Monkey Suit," "Concrete Shoes" are high points, as are the
Japanese count-offs by Chosei Funehara, or whatever his name was.
"Beyond the Valley..." Moving toward metal, no songs at all. Cover photo is unintentionally humorous, showing a badly sunburned Richie Stotts in drag.
"Metal Priestess" -- a fair EP. "Lunacy" is one of the Plasmatics'
better -actual- songs.
"Coup d'Etat" -- Now exists in two forms -- the one demo'd to
Capitol, produced by Dan Hartman; and the version released by
Capitol redone with a producer more aimed at 'mersh metal.
Best they did -- "Put Your Love In Me," "Rock 'n' Roll" are
killer tunes. And they manage not to butcher Motorhead's "No Class."
"Maggots" -- avoid.
Many singles and some other EPs, plus Wendy O's solo career.
"WoW" -- is the best. One good song written
for her by Kiss, I think, "It's My Life." Kiss probably should have kept it. Wendy really couldn't sing at all and "WoW" shows this in all its glory. Awesome cover, though, and a gratuitous beaver
shot on an import CD I have of it.
"Reform School Girls" -- movie soundtrack, the best stuff is from
Wendy O. Campy material written for her role in the movie.
"Kommander of Kaos" -- horrible.
A couple of others are circulating, as well as a variety of
cut and pastes aimed at squeezing whatever blood can be still
had from the stone.

"Concrete Shoes" is unbelievable, especially the post root-canal spoken-word intro. I don't think Wendy was a native English speaker

"Beyond the Valley..." Moving toward metal, no songs at all. George, you're so wrong on that one, as this album showcases their finest tunes (apart from "Lunacy," which, as you suggest, is easily their most melodic moment!)
