Help me out with a Halloween Costume

I wanna be a musical icon but i don't know which one. i was considering sid vicious, but i dont want to cut my hair that short. i really want to have a good one this year. i'm tall, lanky/gaunt, and have shoulder length black hair, that could be trimmed if need be. PLEASE HELP!!

Andrew WK... easy, cheap, recognizable... white t-shirt and white jeans, greasy hair (you've got the length + color), and some fake blood pouring out of your nose, a'la the album cover of "I Get Wet."
I wanted to rock this costume, but I'm a fat dude, so it never would have worked.

Do what I did last year.

Throw on baggy jeans, sneakers, and an oversized flannel with only the top button buttoned, get and afro wig and put on a baseball cap over it. Get a 40 and a sawed-off shotgun.

Bingo, you're golden-era B-Real from Cypress Hill.

Only I'm tall and big, not tall and lanky, so you'll pull it off better.

two weeks pass...

well, i was quite proud of how it came out and plan to post a pic whenever i get them developed. sadly, i had no idea how virtually unknown phil oakey is. noone knew who the fuck i was, and only one person i explained the costume to knew who the human league were.

Might do this this year, it'd be easy to pull off (finding cheap oversized suits at thrift shops is no problem)
