Sylvian's Everything and Nothing: C/D?

I know the rap (put forth best by Ian Penman in Uncut, I believe) is that it's all remixed and re-recorded to sound less a greatest hits package than a contiguous piece.

But I must admit: I actually really enjoy the thing. From the finished old pieces (Beehive's "Ride" is particularly exemplary, as is Gentlemen Take Polaroids' "Some Kind of Fool") to all those tracks from others' albums (like Mick Karn) E&N strikes me less as heresy or obsessive than simply another run -- and an intriguing one at that.

It's great. Was listening to "Ride" off of it just yesterday.

Bamboo Houses, Laughter and Forgetting, Bouy and those goofy collaborations with Bill Frissell could've been left off, plus I Surrender could've been edited and this would have made room for more Sylvian / Fripp tracks.

Dee to thread, of course! I like it for all the various rarities, mostly.

It doesn't have Forbidden Colours on it either, does it? If it doesn't, well, what the fuck is up with that?????

Bamboo Houses...could've been left off

Why on Earth, pray tell? Track's damn near perfect.
