I was listening last night for the first time in... well over 10 years at least... to The Cure's 'Faith', an album which absolutely defined my life as a teenager (although 'Pornography' was the album they had just released when I realised they existed). I thought I knew it inside out and (as was discussed recently on a Talk Talk thread) hadn't listened to it in years *because I knew exactly what it sounded like*.

Anyway, Side 1, very pleasant, just as I remembered it. Side 2 (which I recalled was my favourite) could only be better. Imagine my surprise, therefore, when the first track 'The Funeral Party' bore more than a passing resemblance to Angelo Badlamenti's 'Falling'...

Mr Smith? To the music lawyers!

Or is it just me?
