the one that most has the feel of '458489' ?
have heard it said that 'extricate' is "not un-pop"
ditto 'the frenz experiment', so to repeat ;which is the pop one ?

Or also "Shift-Work", or apparently the new one's going to be quite "accessible".

If you like A-Sides a lot, then moving on to the albums those singles came from would be a good idea. Go for This Nation's Saving Grace, Strange And Frightening World, Bend Sinister, and The Frenz Experiment. You won't be let down.

.. or The Infotainment Scan - seems pretty pop/accessible to me.

"Chiselers" is not by a long shot the best Fall tune.

The new one is not so goddamn accessible as all that.

I find _Bend Sinister_ to be a fairly pop album, though I think for most people that'd be stretching it other than "Shoulder Pads" and "Mr. Pharmacist."

I think you were right the first time with 'Extricate'. Though if you want the sound of the 458489 compilation (bearing in mind that those are the singles so the most pop) then follow Matthew Perpetua's advice.

You know, Hex Enduction Hour is pretty accessable and 'pop' in terms of the Fall. You really can't go wrong with that one, in addition to the other LPs I mentioned. I mean, it has "The Classical" on it!
