Just been listening to his Oboe Concerto No. 1, an extremely fine work imo. Had no idea he was a child prodigy, who was conducting at La Scala when he was 12(!!!!). I'm away to track down his soundtrack for the film, "La morte ha fatto l'uovo", I may be some time.

Still need to hear his acoustic side. Given the amount of attention early electronic music's been getting the last decade, I'm surprised I don't see his name a lot more often, given just how emotive & musical his pieces are for how early they are.
