tewari's in another local quartet called CMAU that tore my ears off the other night. live processing of acoustic sources, veering straight into inferno noise. their show rankjed with things like 'persepolis' or AMM's 'the crypt'.

Well I think you should resist the urge to resist Julio!
I saw them at Shepherds Bush Empire back in April and they were absolutely excellent.
Unfortunately Robert Williams has since left the band (he threw another of his prima donna strops I believe) but I hear his replacement, Michale Traylor, is very good.

I hope to make it to most of these, I would go to that festival in Glasgow with AMM and the Boredoms but it's too far from London really.

I'm annoyed that Clearlake are supposed to be playing on this tour, cos I refuse to pay to go and see Electric Soft Parade. They played at a festival this summer, and we spent their entire set wondering what was the noise that they were making. And The Vessels are supporting the Bluetones on tour.. Why are all my favourite bands supporting crap bands on tour?In the next week I will be watching (amongst others) Cat on Form, Youth Movie Soundtrack Strategies, Nought, Meanwhile Back in Communist Russia, The Lucksmiths, Would Be Goods, Schmoof and Chicks on Speed (that's only half the bands I'm going to see as well. Hurray for 4 band bills)

why?
a) HE PLAYED FUCKIN WILEY, MAN!!!!!!! LIKE, one of the ESKIMOs!!!!! FUCK!!!!!!b) he played the hardest acid techno that went straight to yr feet!c) he made one of those tunes of AFX 'Classics', thats sounds like someone banging saucepand together, sound like a sexy'n'stylish booty track! like, i was surrounded by girls shaking their asses! AT A WARP NIGHT remember kids....d) it was so fucking good!!!
OMG WTF VIBERT was not cheesy and dull?!?@!?E@E!
coincidence: he has got rid of his cheesey and dull long hair shit.
anyway i just wanted to let you know of this eath shattering event. afx was brutal, but predictable. plaid were lame andpredictable. jamie liddell was silly. that was it.
