no preferences really, though i'd love it if there was an album with heatmakerz/kanye west style production, with 80's luther vandross style samples, bit like that kelly rowland/nelly song. tho from what i hear on the radio it seems that most rnb producers are still churning out boring skeletal electro type beats. one song i like recently features joe budden, it's really nice but i didn't recognise the singer or catch the title. thizanks

not heard her album (Get It While It's Hot) but the single despite basically using the skeletal electro beats (think Playgroup's 'Number One') does also have a bit of an 80s vibe to it i thought (Loose Ends?)

Un-Cut - The Un-Calculated Some. Some of the most beautiful female vocals you'll ever hear in your life (you've heard "Midnight," right? No? What the hell is wrong with you?). Try to get the unreleased promo version of the album that has the jaw-droppingly great "Senseless" that was left off the real album due to copyright issues.

I thought that "rnb" was MB and I was like, "I didn't know Beyonce was from Manitoba, hyuk, hyuk."

The Jamelia album is very good indeed.

Plucky Jamelia's album is half very good indeed and half a bit embarrassing.

I haven't listened to it for a bit, but I'm sure I don't remember any outright embarrassing moments... at least one of the ballads is good, I think.

Oh it's got a great ballad (somewhere in the second half, CD is not to hand), maybe even too - it was the 'nasty girl' ones that I thought were a bit lame, though "Off The Endz" is very good.
