Attention black metal fans and types, who are Eyes on Fire?

And do you rate them? I mean, I know the web page is here and all. I picked up the "Disintegrate" EP and rather like it, especially the song "Hopeless," so if they're seen as mere clones of someone, I need to know who to investigate in turn.

i think it's eyes OF fire and www.eyesoffire.us. listening to it on mp3.com it sounds kind of like neurosis or isis with vague pop aspirations. or the second rahowa album, heh.

doesn't really do much for me. you might want to check out mindrot, whence some of the bandmembers came - i was never a fan of their style and pretty much don't remember what they sounded like, but there might be some resemblance.

I've heard of them, but not in a black metal context - aren't they more of a Meshuggah/Neurosis-type experimental prog/hardcore band?
