DJ Yoda - But from the early 90's

Back in the early 90's, a mate mixed me a tape, and between some of the tracks, I thought he had been really clever and "created" some stuff.

Now, looking back, somebody was probably doing the kind of stuff DJ Yoda does on "how to cut and paste"; and matey nicked it lock, stock, and barrel.

Saying that, it was all pretty entertaining, but I don't know what it is; and cannot therefore buy it !

So what did my old mate cull from ? The sampled material included;
-Some repeated sample containing the words "broadcasting the beat"
-I'm just a little old raincloud (Winnie the Pooh)
-a discussion about exercise you can do to improve the "bust"
-"would you like to go to the pictures, its a war film" (irish accent - cue theme from the film "Great Escape"

So one of three things.
1. The alcohol is wearing off
2. Mate was highly clever and original
3. An early nineties "Yoda" is out there, and you know who they are

Any clues ?
