They were my favorite in high school circa Angst, the best pop-industrial-metal album of them all. Naive and that album I think are their only consistently good classics. I guess their inconsistency is what really makes them worth listening to- good when they're spontaneous, bad when the stuff is tossed-off- coming from all the different guest band members coming in. Kind of like Pigface except way less sucky. Nihil, the follow up to Angst dissapointed me but had good moments. XTORT was when they lost all good cheesy qualities and became just cheesy and worthless, I thought. But I have gotten a new appreciation for the symbols album- which I hated when I got it- cheesy yes but poppy and listenable and far better than any of the worthless imitators like Rammstein. Adios sucked and I didn't bother getting MDFMK. Does Attak or WWIII have anything worth hearing?

Nope. They're both pretty awful. Even "Boots," which could've been a return to hilariously cheesy form, was pretty bad.

I haven't had a full-body "I can't believe I used to like these guys" shudder in a while, but a new KMFDM album came out today and...I can't believe I used to like these guys *shudder*. pic.twitter.com/Nkqsa9teph
